AADK presents the project “From local to global” with the intention of creating a global discourse from a rural environment through the works created by the artists invited to Centro Negra. Using and exploring all the creative possibilities a local environment like that of Blanca has to offer us, we then distribute these works on national and international circuits thus taking the works to a global environment.
In visual format, this book shows a slice of the artistic invasion that has taken place in the first year of our existence as a centre for contemporary creation and investigation. We can see the transformation of the landscape, the study of territory, identity and space, with the body as a tool for action in the various works.
This initial phase of the project has connected Centro Negra with national and international spaces and structures to continue developing the project “ From local to global” born at Centro Negra.
