01 Oasis
Escaping from the concrete jungle Located near the historic NBC tower in downtown, Chicago. The Oasis tower is a high-rise building which is meant to act like the refuge from the dense urban enviroment . Self-contained in every way this tower features a hotel, residential units along with various amenities including a business center, spa, restaurant and a co-working area. Key feature of the building is however the series of skygardens which twist their way throughout the building vertically. These sky gardens offer unique views and act as the interactive hubs of the tower creating a sense of community . Moreover, the sky gardens are also deigned to act as the lungs of the building. By allowing natural ventilation, the sky-gardens of the building in a way “breathe.

DSF - Double Skin Facade The advantage in the use of the double-skin facade is that it provides acoustic insulation, thermal insulation, and reduction of the effects of wind pressure. This approach allows natural or fan-supported ventilation to take part in the sky gardens and the ability to improve energy efficiency in both heating and cooling during seasonal change .
02 A.R.C Water is an abundant element in our world that is both gentle and dangerous. As humans, water gives us life, but as many floods and hurricanes have proven, it can also take it away. Located in the heart of New Orleans between The Lower Ninth Ward and Chalmette neighborhoods, this intervention aims to unite these communities under one roof in a space of recreation. With this we are able to provide an opportunity to give back to those who have suffered many hardships in its past.

The Flood resilient construction methods are used to reduce the impact from a flood, ensuring that structural integrity is maintained in current and post disaster situations. Concrete is inherently water resilient and entirely suitable in a construction designed to be waterproof. In this case the columns are designed above average in both size and materiality, to both embrace the impact of category 5 hurricanes.

04 Graphic Work In my free time, I take part in graphic design. I look for ways to combine the reality of architecture and the possibility of the unknown in my works. To me, graphic design is limitless in its possibilities to express anything. It’s a medium that allows me to be fluid, to explore different solutions through graphic choices, layouts, and colors. I believe with any design, one should bring their culture and use their imagination
