01 Analyze

Extraction Gallery Architecture is used as the Highest expression of art. Using different mediums such as shape, line and tone in theses drawings demonstrates the significance of detail within art. These drawings are used to demonstrate analyzing a basic context, we as designers need to find critical elements that can be used to help strengthen our design process. This helps me in he transition between the concept phase to the realistic applications that are need in a final design.

Understanding how space works is a crucial to the aspect of design, and allows for us to create unforgettable experience for those that encounter them. The Sentinel stands as a guardian to protect and honor in Which it guards. Drawing inspiration from nature to create a seamless Application to the context of the site. The Farnsworth’s Sentinel Stands at the begin of every visitors experience to embrace the monumental building designed by mies van der rohe. 04 SERVICE

Transition to New Heights

AS Designer it is our job to SERVICE our community through the manifestations we create. Asking ourselves questions such as can our building increase the quality of life for residents or provide in security for a block The Heights building sits as a residential apartment set within the 1600 block of West Pratt Street in Southwest Baltimore in the Union Square Community. The goal is to increase an individual’s housing journey after being reintroduced into society after imprisonment. Introducing live/work opportunities on the building first floor, and provided a creative outlet with maker space on the residential floors. This is a the fist part of a master plan to attract tenants and developers to encourage the revitalization of the semi-dilapidated community.
