AAU is one of a few universities globally—and the first institution in Europe—to have received accreditation from the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC), an American accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education. AAU programs are also accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic and thus recognized in the EU.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree is accredited by AACSB and awarded by Chapman University in California, United States. The Global Degree Program allows students to study in Prague for 2 years and complete their final 2 years at Kent State University in Ohio, USA.


How to Apply

AAU offers rolling admissions, allowing students to apply throughout the year for the semester of their choosing. In order to apply for an undergraduate (bachelor’s degree) program, applicants must submit a completed Application Form (can be submitted online at www.aauni.edu) and all of the documents, listed below. The documents need to be in English. Non-English documents must be certified by an authorized translator:

Scholarships & Financial Aid AAU merit-based scholarships are awarded to degree seeking students in AAU degree programs who have successfully completed at least 5 courses for credit during their previous active semester at the university. Every student is automatically considered for the merit-based program. Scholarships, ranging from partial to whole amounts, are awarded to students at the beginning of every active term. The scholarship amounts are determined based on the student‘s AAU grade point average (GPA) and the length of the student’s undergraduate study. Every year AAU invests in its most dedicated students with nearly $200,000 in financial support.
