The Kickbacks are a 3 piece acoustic band, originating from Abersoch, North Wales. Formed back in 2009 they have since been gathering a strong following through playing gigs locally and across the UK. Aaron, Tom and Sam are three friends who have grown up together so they have a natural feel for the music they are creating which is a new sound they like to call Rockska blues. Their sound really shines through in their live shows where their rock/ bluesy rhythms get you on your feet in no time.
Band acwstig 3 aelod o Abersoch yw’r Kickbacks. Ffurfiwyd y band yn ôl yn 2009 ac ers hynny maent wedi bod yn cael cefnogaeth gref trwy chwarae gigs yn lleol a dros y DU. Llanbedrog Situated directly between the more distinguished towns of Abersoch and Pwllheli, is the hidden gem that is Llanbedrog. The village will host Glass Butter Beach festival for the second year in a row this August, and it’s clear to anyone why! The National Trust beach that will accomodate the watersports during the action packed weekend is one of the most frequently painted beaches on the Peninsula due to its unique beauty. Slightly seperated from the busier hotspots, Llanbedrog has a modest charm that beckons hundreds of visitors to its prime attractions every year. The acclaimed headland that can be seen from the festival site holds some of the most spectacular views in the country; not only of the two nearest beaches (Llanbedrog and Quarry), but far across the Peninsula and beyond to the surrounding mountains. Well worth exploring at some point over the weekend.

Abersoch is encircled by a number of stunning beaches not only perfect for relaxing with an ice cream, but also for taking part in sailing, surfing, wakeboarding and paddleboarding activities throughout the year. The main beach is often the location for exciting annual events such as Dingy Week, Abersoch 10k, the raft racing competition and the legendary New Years Day Dip. Away from the beach there’s one of the best selection of clothes shops and eateries that fill up the high street found anywhere in the UK, while at night-time newly refurbished pubs and restaurants are often busy with crowds in high spirits! Being only a five minute bus journey from the festival, you should definitely check it out at some point during the festival!

pwllheli A lot of excitement surrounds the Llyn’s bustling centre-town of Pwllheli at the moment as developments occur left right and centre! The progression being made to the marina has now secured its status as being one of the best in Britain, accomodating over 400 boats with plenty of space for visitors. This has encouraged even more tourism to the area over recent years, making it the place-tobe during summertime. An entirely new building containing shops such as Costa Coffee and Wilkinsons has also creeped up quickly, facing the empty Bon Marche building where a Wetherspoons will soon be. Now not only will visitors be able to enjoy the two long beaches and pleasant exisiting shops the town has to offer, but exciting additions such as these will also be available this year.
Mae llawer o gyffro ynghylch tref ganolog Pen Llŷn, Pwllheli, ar hyn o bryd wrth i ddatblygiadau ddigwydd ym mhob cwr o’r dref! Mae’r datblygiadau sy’n cael eu gwneud i’r marina bellach wedi sicrhau ei statws fel un o’r goreuon ym Mhrydain, gyda lle i dros 400 o gychod a digon o le i ymwelwyr. Anogodd hyn fwy byth o dwristiaeth i’r ardal dros flynyddoedd diweddar, a Phwllheli yw’r lle i fod yn yr haf. Ymddangosodd adeilad newydd sbon yn cynnwys siopau megis Costa Coffee a Wilkinsons hefyd yn gyflym iawn, i wynebu adeilad gwag Bon Marche lle bydd Wetherspoon newydd cyn bo hir. Felly nid y ddau draeth hir a’r siopau dymunol yn unig y caiff ymwelwyr eu mwynhau, ond bydd yr ychwanegiadau cyffrous newydd hyn ar gael eleni hefyd.

"The legend was one of the first DJ’s to experiment with records, placing his hands on them to create different sounds.” "Roedd yr arwr yn un o’r DJs cyntaf i arbrofi gyda recordiau, gan osod ei ddwylo arnynt i greu gwahanol synau. " heddiw gan DJs poblogaidd; y dechneg ôl-droelli (Backspin), crafu a Chymalau Pwnsh (Punch Phrasing). Fodd bynnag mae Flash yn camu’n ôl oddi wrth y finyl analog ar gyfer ei albwm ddiweddaraf ac yn mynd i’r afael â byd DJio digidol. Mae Flash nid yn unig yn brysur yn rhyddhau ei ddeuddegfed albwm, ond mae hefyd yn Gyfarwyddwr Cerddorol i raglen The Chris Rock Show ac mae ganddo ei raglen ei hun – The Flash Mash ar Sirus Radio. Ar ben hynny, mae’n berchen ar ei linell ffasiwn ei hun, G.Phyre, wedi ei hysbrydoli gan Hip-Hop, ac mae wedi cyhoeddi bywgraffiad, ‘The Adventures of Grandmaster FlashMy Life in Beats’. Mae’r llyfr cyfareddol hwn yn gofnod personol o’i siwrnai ef ei hun trwy Hip-Hop dros y tri deng mlynedd ddiwethaf. Mae’r seren wedi perfformio ar gyfer cynulleidfaoedd mor enfawr â’r Super Bowl ac mor elit â’r Frenhines, ond rydyn ni’n ei gael i gyd i ni’n hunain yn Glass Butter Beach eleni. Allwn ni ddim aros.
