How to delete local email profiles These instructions apply to Outlook 2007, 2010 and 2013. All other versions are unsupported. 1. Open the Windows Control Panel in one of three ways. a. (Windows 7) Click StartControl Panel b. (Windows 7) Click StartRun, then type “Control Panel” and press “Enter” on your keyboard c. (Windows 8/8.1)Press the “+S” key combination on your keyboard, type “Control Panel” and click “Control Panel” from the search results. 2. From the Control Panel, open the Mail settings screen a. (Windows 7,8,8.1) Click the “Mail (32bit)” icon/link NOTE: you may need to change the View by: property in the upper right hand corner of the window from “Category” too Small or Large icons. 3. The “Mail Setup – Outlook” window appears. Click the “Show Profiles” button. 4. The “Mail” window appears. Highlight each profile listed and delete each one by clicking the “Remove” button. A dialog box appears, click “OK” to delete the profile. Delete all profiles listed.
5. Click “OK” after you have deleted all profiles listed. 6. You have successfully deleted local email profiles.
