Dear ABM employee, Congratulations on receiving your new OneABM computer! This machine will allow you to access OneABM resources when the migration occurs. Please disregard any instructions enclosed with your machine and proceed with the following: 1) 2) 3) 4)

Set-up your new machine on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 Try to set-up your new machine while it is connected to the network Use the enclosed pre-paid postage label to return your old Windows XP machine to the ABM recycling center Be sure to remove any files you have stored on your old machine before returning it to the ABM recycling center. Use SharePoint team sites and/or your My Site to collaboratively and reliably store files from your old computer. Read and follow future OneABM Migration announcements and education. You will be required to make Outlook and Lync configuration changes in conjunction with the upcoming migration schedule. Subsequent announcements will keep you informed of all details.

Follow these steps to get started with your new machine: 1) 2)

Log-in with the same username and password used for your old machine. Be sure to type in the domain by entering your user name with the domain prefix (i.e., “CORP\username”) Configure Outlook for email: a) Open Outlook 2013 b) If the Outlook Startup wizard does not appear, take the following steps: 1. Click on the File tab 2. Click on “Add Account” (just above the Account Settings button) 3. Skip to step (3) below c) If the Outlook Startup wizard appears, take the following steps: 1. Click Next in the Outlook startup wizard 2. On the E-mail Accounts page click Next to set-up an email account 3. On the Auto Account Setup/Add New Account page Outlook may prepopulate information in the Your Name and E-mail Address 4. If the Your Name and E-mail Address fields are not pre-populated correctly, please correct them. Make sure that your email address includes the @thelincgroup.com domain (if you do not have @thelincgroup.com email, proceed with your @abm.com domain email address) 5. Type and confirm your Password in the Password and Retype Password fields (this will be the same password that you used to log into your computer) 6. Click Next 7. Your Outlook should now be set-up If you encounter any difficulties with Outlook please refer to the Helpful Links section of this letter. Configure Lync for instant messages a) Open Lync 2013 b) In the Sign-in address field, enter: OneABMusername@oneabm.local (i.e., ABCD1234@oneabm.local) c) Enter your OneABM password when prompted d) Click on the Sign In button e) Your Lync is now set-up If you encounter any difficulties with Lync please refer to the Helpful Links section of this letter.
