Hello from Jerry & Esther Well-being envelopes me. It is a sensation I desire for everyone on the planet. It must be what absolute Well-being feels like. It must be what bliss feels like. It feels like liquid love.

As Abraham opens my eyes and addresses the group, all awareness of myself disappears. A feeling of joy, confidence, eagerness, and understanding of all things runs through me, and my own words caress me as they flow through.

While I hear each word that comes from my mouth, I am not in the mode of listening. It is much more of a feeling experience for me than anything else. It feels powerful, and interesting, and exhilarating.

As Abraham looks through my eyes you look different than when I view you.

The room is more about light and shadows than the things my own eyes generally see.

When Abraham picks from the crowd and selects you from the group I have no visual awareness of the person they have chosen. It is as if that person lights up. Abraham is choosing in response to Energy rather than the hand that is wildly waving to get their attention. And, of course, I have no way of knowing what Abraham’s full awareness of the individuals in the group is, for I have a sense that I am translating but a small fraction of it at any time.

I do know that once you are sitting in “the hot seat” that you have Abraham’s undivided attention. And I love the feeling of their love and understanding flowing through me in response to you.

In a hundred more pages I could not adequately define this amazing Abraham experience. But please know how blessed I feel to be a part of this extraordinary process.

We love you very much and are thankful every day that we and you and Abraham are having this joyful cocreating experience.

People ask me so often, “Esther, what is it like for you? What is the Abraham experience like for you?”

When Jerry and I first began our work with Abraham, from time to time we would hear from others about their experiences of interaction with “Non-Physical Entities”.

And as their accounts rarely seemed to even come close to the experience I was having with Abraham, I would ask Abraham, “Why do they tell these lies?”

Abraham answered, again and again, “Do not compare your experience to any other. For there are not two the same.”

So, since you ask so often, I’ll explain it from my perspective, but you have to promise not to compare it to the experiences of others or to your own experience, for I really have come to understand that there are not two of us having the same experience.

As I stand on the platform at the beginning of each workshop segment, I am aware of you from my perspective. I recognize my friends. I am aware of your excitement and sometimes of your frustration. I see your faces. And I feel my usual sense of self consciousness because my hair never turns out the way I meant for it to. (I’m working on that one) (Not getting better hair, but not caring if I don’t.)

As I close my eyes to invite Abraham to join us, I always say in my mind, “Abraham, I am ready if you are. I want to speak clearly, your words.” And in that moment a feeling of warm , loving calm moves through me and a sense of absolute

It would be a Friday, Saturday and Sunday event. The package would include the workshop, meals, and accommodations...

(We used these facilities, annually, in our business before Abraham. We hosted up to 700 persons — that’s maximum for the meeting hall. We have to book it well in advance, and so, we will judge by your response to this whether to consider it further.

Are You Letting It In? Guest: I have a personal question about developing the ability to let go of things from the past. I can see that my now is colored by all of these things. And it’s difficult for me not to constantly remind myself that I missed out on this or that.

paper is really the only thing visible in the room. And even though the experience is not very pleasant, you’ve got this habit going.

Then, all of a sudden, you realize “Hey, I don’t have to do this!” and you simply lift your fingers up off the sandpaper!

This is a deliberate intent to remove yourself from this irritation.

The sensation of lifting up is wonderful. As you lift off, it almost feels like spider webs pulling from your fingers. We want you to begin reaching for that ensuing sense of relief.

You’ve had your eye on this sandpaper.

It seemed justified, it seemed important.

People talked to you about it, there’s evidence of it in your life, and everything seems to be somehow about sandpaper. But in reality, there is it, and there is the absence of it, and you do have a choice of whether or not to lift your fingers—your thoughts, that is— off of what is evoking this unpleasant experience.

Abraham: Well, that is logical, isn’t it? Because that’s where your vibration is, it’s logical that you would be reminded of things like that.

We have a fun way of looking at it: Let’s say you have a piece of very fine sandpaper, and you rub it with your fingers. It is so fine that at first, it feels almost like velvet. So you rub it a little more, and a little more, and a little more…

In the beginning, there is no detriment to this experience. But the longer you rub it, the more unpleasant it becomes. Your skin is beginning to feel some sensitivity—and after an hour or two, maybe even some beginnings of blisters. Yet sometimes, that sand-

Love ❥ Appreciation ❥ Love A Day Of Most Enlightenment

I want to extend massive appreciation to Esther, Jerry, and Abraham for so eloquently getting the word out to the world! A friend gave me the Introduction tape. I listened to it and it changed my thinking—and I thanked her for changing my life. Immediately I ordered the Special Subjects I and II and I couldn’t stop listening. The Art of Letting It In When you conclude a preference, whether you speak it or not, NonPhysical Energy, by virtue of Law of Attraction, answers your request. Ask and it is given, every single time—no exceptions.

You cannot stop your asking, and the Universe will never stop its yielding, benevolently and joyously, to that which you are asking for. But the big question is, are you letting it in?

Letting what in? Letting what you want in. Letting the clarity in. Letting the Life Force in, Letting the Non-Physical Energy in. Letting the Well-being in that would be within you otherwise—if you were not focused upon things that are not letting it in.

You are allowing what is good when you are feeling good. You are disallowing what is good when you are feeling bad. We didn’t say you’re allowing what’s bad when you’re feeling bad, because there is no stream of stuff that is bad. There is only a stream of Well-being, but you might not be letting it in.

This seminar is about the art of letting it in. The art of learning how to hold myself more in vibrational harmony with what I have been asking for.

And as I practice the vision of my own desire—now I am letting it in.

f there is no source of illness, why are there so many sick people?” It is because they have found lots of excuses to hold themselves in vibrational discord with wellness.

They are not letting it in. And when they don’t let it in, the absence of it looks like sickness.

If it is a subject that you often think of in an attitude of resistance, it is really worthwhile reaching for some thoughts that feel better. You could launch an intention and never think about it again, and the Universe would yield it to you. You don’t have to clean up your vibration relative to anything, if you can just not think about it any more. That’s why we teach meditation. It’s easier to teach you to have no thought than to have pure positive thought. Because what you really want is freedom, many of you equate working for other people as bondage, but if you would realize that the corporation, as an entity, is not so different from the individual, it might be easier to understand the employer’s decisions.

Long before the buildings or the workers, the visionary of the corporation had an idea for something that began summoning Energy. Am I predominantly letting the Energy flow through me, or not? Am I letting it in?”

Worthiness, or unworthiness, is something that is pronounced upon you by you. You are the only one that can deem yourself worthy or unworthy. You are the only one who can love yourself into a state of allowing, or hate yourself in a state of disallowing.

tifully. And if I will allow them to do their work, my body will be in perfect balance. I will know when I’m not allowing them to do their work, when I’m ornery, or angry, or fearful, or when I’m fitful.

Continue to reach for the thought that feels better and you will release your resistance. As you release your resistance, you allow your cells to receive what they’re asking for—and your body remains in perfect balance.

It’s not an easy thing to live in your environment and be at one with food.

Almost everything you hear about food, tells you that there is something wrong with that food. We don’t know how you find anything that you don’t feel guilty about eating. It will take some effort to find yourself happy, relative to that process, again.

A child, before he is influenced by physical surroundings that have come before, would find himself gravitating naturally to things that were most in harmony with what he wanted. If he were introduced to a buffet meal at the age of 1 or 2 or 3, he would gravitate to those things that are a vibrational match with his Well-being.

But as this little one reaches for something and finds it delicious, something like a sweet, and his mother, or mentor, worries about it—now his attention to her worry causes him to not be a vibrational match to Well-being.

And there it begins, in that very early stage. It has always been about allowing the Well-being. It has never been about what you are eating—ever.

Guest: Basically, once you’re in harmony with your body, and with loving your body and what your physical body is, does it matter what you eat?

Abraham: See your body as a manufacturing plant. You bring it all kinds of raw materials, and it is so sophisticated in its ability to utilize those raw materials, that it can pretty much derive whatever it wants. That is one of the reasons that, what the physicians call, a balanced diet is of value. If you are giving enough balance to your body, it can get what it needs from your diet.

The more water you consume, the happier the cells of your body are. Your body works better if you are drinking more water. Aside from that, your body can pretty much deal with whatever you consume.

Guest: My aunt and an uncle have diabetes. With the way their insulin works, will their bodies just automatically find balance?

Abraham: They are in that position because, without knowing it, they’ve been holding thoughts of resistance that have not been allowing the cells to keep themselves in balance. And once a body is out of balance, it is more difficult to bring it back into balance. But it is the same thing.

Love ❥ Appreciation ❥ Love As I was driving to your Workshop at Woodland Hills Marriott yesterday, I thought, how long has it been since I first came into contact with Abraham, Jerry and Esther? It was 1990, and through an unusual set of circumstances, your book, “A New Beginning II”, landed in my lap.

As I read it, I felt tremendous joy welling up within me. I could not put the book down. My prayers had been answered.

I attended my first Workshop in Fairfax, VA, in 1991. There were about 30 of us in the audience. And my next favorite memory was in the lobby of the Courtyard Marriott in San Mateo, CA, in 1993. As my friend and I returned from dinner after the workshop, you were both sitting in the lobby, and Esther was reading the first, partially completed, Sara book to another couple.

You invited us to join you as Esther read on. A very special memory!

I love how Abraham’s teaching continues to evolve. And, as with everyone, I continue to benefit tremendously. Yes, my life has expanded in many wonderful ways and I am extremely grateful. Yet I think that my favorite expansion is the knowing I have that allows me to be fully present in and through every moment of every day. It feels so good to live this way.

Continual Evolution

You’ve been on my mind a lot lately. For one thing, I have a friend who keeps calling me to thank me for turning her onto your tapes and teachings, but you’ve also showed up in my dreams twice in the last week.

Ours is a unique relationship.

The demands on your time and attention have prevented the usual dialogue I share with my friends, yet when we are together I feel a profound connection to you, like a favorite sister.

It must be difficult for you to have ordinary relationships with the demands of your role as a teacher. I have been asking myself if I am letting it in a lot lately and have found a unique way of measuring it.

Mark (my husband) an I go to a casino, located in Verona, NY, occasionally. Last time we went, I noticed I had a headache in the morning hours.

During lunch, we discussed our daughter at great length. I was always able to see how she got what she got in her young life thus far, but Mark shared with me even more “evidence” of the Law of Attraction at work with her. She is clearly on a path of searching why, but not quite ready to ask exactly, “Why?” This “evidence” that Mark shared with me somehow opened up such a vortex of allowing that when we finished our lunch, I went back to the slot machines and won $850! Then I asked myself... “So, how does it feel to let it in?” Ah... my headache was gone and I was flying high.

A few days ago, we again visited the casino. Only this time, we worked a bit harder (maybe 3, 20 minute sessions) on how easily abundance flows into our lives and just how that feels to us. Well, I checked my vibrational meter (my friendly slot machine) once again and won $2,000 on the slot machine.

Oh, Abraham, can it be that one of my best vibrational meters is my favorite slot machine to tell me whether I’m lettin’ it in or not? I think so.

It might take some diligence at first. I might say, “That doesn’t make me feel good, and that doesn’t make me feel good,” but if I want to feel good, then I will stay on my search.

And if I keep saying to the Manager, or to the Universe, “I want to find something that makes me feel good, I want to find something that makes me feel good.” If I’m holding that intent, and I really, really mean it, the Universe will yield to me, sooner than later, something that makes me feel good—and I will feel the relief and the release of feeling better.

And then I will say, “Ah, that makes me feel good.” And as I focus upon that for as little as 17 seconds, now I’m off and running. Suddenly, the things that were in my vicinity that were not making me feel good, I do not have vibrational access to any more. Now, I’m on a rampage of things feeling good.

There is nothing more productive for any of you, than to get on a rampage of appreciation relative to any subject of your desire. Because you cannot be in the state of appreciation and at the same time hold yourself vibrationally apart from something you desire. They are two opposite vibrations.

You cannot appreciate the idea of a relationship and hold yourself apart from one at the same time. You can’t appreciate the idea of a healthy body,

Would Appreciate Addressing the “Pursuit of Joy” Guest: I would like you to address pursuit of joy and how wonderful it can be when it flows through you, Abraham: The reason that the pursuit of joy, or as some have said in such perfect words, following your bliss, is so valuable, is that when you are looking for the thought, word or action that feels joyful—what you are actually doing is holding yourself in vibrational harmony with Source Energy. That is what this Workshop is all about: Holding yourself in a place where you’re letting it in.

Letting what in? Things that are a vibrational match to joy: Clarity, wellness, abundance, all things that you consider to be good. “And so, today, no matter where I’m going, no matter what I’m doing, and no matter who I’m doing it with—it is my dominant intent to look for those things that feel good.”

This process of allowing the Wellbeing to flow to you is not difficult. It is as simple as wanting enough to feel good, that I’m looking for something that makes me feel good. I might have to be tenacious in that idea for a little while. I might look at that and it might not make me feel good because it reminds me of something that didn’t make me feel good before, or because it might remind me of something that I’ve wanted and I don’t have. And I might look outside, and it might not 46

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS choose that thought for only one reason: in choosing that thought, I feel better. This thought feels better than that thought. This thought feels better than that thought.

whether it is yours or someone else’s, and hold yourself apart from it at the same time.

When you are in the vibration of appreciation, you are in the vibration of allowing. Whatever it is you are appreciating, you are allowing, with that much more emphasis, in the now.

In other words, it speeds the process.

If we were wanting to reach for joyful experience, or the experience of connection, we would superimpose the word “appreciation”, because it is a purer vibration for most. When you say, “I want that, or I have to have that,” sometimes it can get messy. But when you say, “I surely do appreciate that,” there is very little contradictory vibration within you. And you are much more likely to then use that as your excuse to allow what you’ve been telling the Universe, all along, with your yippees and yahoos, that you are wanting.

The art of letting it in says, “Well-being abounds, and I’m a worthy receiver of it. And when I think that thought, I don’t let it in. When I think that thought, I let it in a little more. And when I think that thought, I really let it in. I choose that thought.” Do I choose that thought because it is reality? Do I choose that thought because my parents agree with it? No, but I choose that thought because it lets it in.

Do I choose that thought because statistics say it’s the truth? Do I choose that thought because a lot of wise people choose that thought and therefore it must be a good thought? No, I

Law of Attraction is matching us up.” “I can’t be happy if you do that. I’m the creator of my own experience.”

It is not difficult for you to tell which thought feels better, is it?

Those were similar vibrations, and yet you were able to discern a marked difference in the way they felt. You are students of Deliberate Creation. You are in an advanced arena. You are doing enormously well. Have fun with all of this. Be easy about it.

There are no trials. You cannot get it wrong, and you will never get it done.

Make a decision that in this moment, in this one, “I’m going to look for an excuse to let it in.”

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS do. It is not letting outside factors affect it. The reason that many people are feeling worry, or a desire to please others, is because when you are pleasing another, when somebody is holding you as their object of attention and they are connected to Source Energy, it is a delicious experience, because more than just the physical them is flooding all over you. Source Energy is being received by you, as they hold you in their gaze. And it is a delicious thing.

Even when you are little, you learn the difference between how it feels when your mother is adoring you and connected to Source Energy, and when your mother is mad at you and not connected to Source Energy.

It just feels better to have someone flood you with Source Energy than not. And so, you develop habits or patterns of trying to get approval.

But much of the time, what’s happening between you and someone else doesn’t have so much to do with you and them anyway. They’re not not flooding you with Source Energy because they don’t love you.

They’re not flooding you with Source Energy because they’re worried about money, or they’re worried about something else. Something else may have caused them to be disconnected. And so, you, at a very early age, begin to lose your sense of

She Wants A Cat’s Sense of Responsibility Guest: I would like to be like my neighbor’s cat. I’m realizing things that still trip me up, like when I deal with people, and I feel what they want, and maybe that’s not what I like to do. So I have this sense of responsibility. I manage on the surface very well, but then inside my head it goes on for hours, where I just kind of justify that I did how I felt. I see my neighbor’s cat. She doesn’t have that problem. She just comes, she goes, she walks. She doesn’t feel responsible. She never worries about how the other person feels. I would like to be more clear inside myself how that part feels.

Abraham: Well, you’re onto something very important here, because the cat is offering an example of letting it in. True allowing. In other words, it’s intuition, it’s spontaneity, it’s clarity, it’s vitality. It’s the state of Well-being. It’s all about not caring so much about what someone outside thinks. Maybe we’ll give a new title to the seminar, “The Art of Being Like The Cat.” What is it that the cat is doing?

The cat is intuitively using its own desire, and the measurement between what it is believing and what it is desiring—as its gauge about what to 48

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS your Inner Being instead of the relationships with others. We are saying, demand alignment with Source. And then play with as many people as are willing to play with you under those conditions.

The more connected to Source Energy you become, the less those that are not connected to Source Energy are able to play with you. In other words, they just vibrate out of your experience.

The cat does not care what you think. Esther has seen Party Cat posed, ready to get the bird. And nothing Esther did could distract that cat from his intention. “But Party Cat, this is your mother,” she said. “Can you not hear me?” A bird flew through the air, Party Cat flew through the air, Esther flew through the air. The cat caught the bird, and Esther caught the cat, and took the bird right out of the cat’s mouth.

Esther said, “I may be intervening here where I do not belong,” but she could not bear to see it happen. An hour later the cat had the same bird.

So Esther’s intervention only caused a slight delay in the inevitable. The cat and the bird had an agreement.

Esther was just not in on it.

The cat is in alignment with Source. And that’s what you want to be, too.

your own guidance. The cat does not do that.

So why does it not happen to the cat while it happens to you? The cat is not so much a co-creator as you are.

The cat is more self-sufficient. The human experience is intended to be more co-creative in nature. And so, as you are interacting with others, it is important to you that their intentions and their desires sometimes be factored in. You call it cooperation.

Rather than thinking, for a little while, in terms of being this co-creative, cooperative Being, begin to think like the cat, just a little bit more. Unless you are connected to Source Energy, you have nothing to give, anyway.

This may be a good bridge for you and others who are having a similar experience: If there is any alignment that you are seeking, it is the alignment with Source. It is the alignment with self. So be like the cat and care about that alignment more than you care about any other alignment, or any other approval.

You will begin to discover that when you are in alignment with Source, you are clearer and brighter, and your timing is better. And all of your relationships improve.

When you are in alignment with Source, then every other relationship is a better relationship. We’re not saying, choose a relationship with

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS they’re just extreme, more exaggerated cases. Contrast caused a very strong desire, and something within their environment catapulted them into suddenly allowing.

Jerry had such an experience, many years ago, when he had been trying to please a lot of people that he could not find a way of pleasing. He had reached a crescendo of great stress and struggle, and all of a sudden he reached a point where he yelled, for all to hear, “I give up!” And in that moment, as he later described it, goose bumps all over his body, like champagne bubbles starting at his feet and working their way up. He was never the same again.

He went to a psychologist because he did not understand what had happened to him. The psychologist asked, “What’s wrong?” Jerry said, “I’m happy all the time.” The psychologist said, “This is really not the kind of thing I’m accustomed to hearing from people.”

A very strong experience caused a rocket of desire that far surpassed any desire he’d ever felt before. And in that moment, his rational mind told him he had gone as far as he could go with the other, and so he literally released his resistance— not his desire for Well-being. And in the releasing of the resistance, he allowed the fullness of a raging spirit of Well-being.

The assumption that there’s a Walkin, which means, one, not so good, spirit departs, and then another, more superior, spirit comes forth, is a flawed premise. You are not clumps of Non-Physical Energy assigned to clumps of flesh. We’re not sitting around on the dock of heaven saying, “Sure wish that guy would get out so we can get in.” It isn’t like that at all. Did Jerry Hicks Have A “Walk-in” Experience?

Guest: I hear people talk about “Walk-ins.”

Do energies actually walk in to bodies and other energies leave, and then that’s how it is for the rest of their life?

Abraham: Yes, occasionally it occurs, but far less than people assume. In other words, contrast causes clarity of desire, and clarity of desire summons Energy. That’s walking in. Sometimes a person will be in a predicament of such exaggerated contrast, that they launch one whopper of a desire, which summons one whopper of Non-Physical Energy.

And if it has been extreme enough that in the exposure they found some way of allowing, in a new way, then that’s what happens.

Yes. As the exposure to your experience causes strong desire, there is always a summoning. With most people it is a strong summoning of Non-Physical Energy and a strong dose of not allowing. In the majority of cases, when somebody has given somebody else the label of Walk-in, isn’t it usually that they were in some extraordinary crisis where things were not going well, and some amazing thing happened, where all of that lifted off of them, and they were sort of reborn into this Energy of Well-being? [yes] A Walk-in could work either way. A person could get so focused upon what is not wanted, that they could actually disallow the Energy of Well-being to flow, so powerfully, that they could become vibrational matches to what is not wanted, and tap into the stream which is a spin-off of man’s conscious mind—and get a strong dose of that, too.

When we talk about letting it in, aren’t we talking about the same thing? In those cases where they’re labeled Walk-ins,

Enjoying self, “but what is getting done?” Concerned about her teen daughter’s driving disability. Is addiction as destructive as the label?

G-6/10/00 — Helping them rediscover their natural Well-being. Will my freedom create chaos for others?

Can you believe in the law of gravity? It’s time to love your worthy Self. You only want anything because it feels good. What are Jerry and Esther’s Abraham intentions? Is your being busy inspired, or motivated?

G-7/1/00 — What takes place when computer is learned? She negatively judges her “forgiveness work”.

Would GOD forgive a parking space thief? Her delightful spiritual son is “hearing voices”. Your body, your weight and your perceptions. Is eternal life possible in physical body? Is there a life partner for all?

G-7/5/00 — Her mate’s fidgeting fingers are disturbing her. Why can taking revenge feel so good? Does the corn kernel envision progeny ears? Discussing the “Survival of the Fittest” concept. Non-physical realm’s relationship to the physical? Considering hierarchal and graduational aspects of reincarnation.

Why would she choose her negative family?

G-7/8/00 — Allowing one’s desires while “allowing God’s will”? Debt, earning, timing, action and financial abundance? Will the meek actually “inherit the earth”? To regain optimistic feeling of her youth?

The significance of being born a twin? The “Wouldn’t It Be Nice If...” game. The Hokey Pokey is what it’s all about.

G-7/11/00 — When the librarian swipes your worrisome card? Judaism, Abraham-Hicks, Meditation and consciousness shift? The Messiah, and an ancient Jewish saint? Physician, a monster slayer or bridge builder? She’s beginning to fear her negative thoughts. Are suicides not earthbound in astral plane?

Presentations are fun, but preparation is stressful. When her perfect dream feels too radical. Why are more “Abrahams” channeling instead of reincarnating?

Maintain passion for relationship and business too? Your nation’s politicians really do mean well. Is joy the purpose of “have-nots” too?

Be Kind To Yourselves We have enjoyed this interaction immensely. It is delicious. It is intoxicating. It is fulfilling. It is satisfying.

It is beyond verbal description to interact with the likes of you. It is thrilling to know what you are about.

It is exhilarating to anticipate what is before you. It is satisfying to see the expertise with which you are evaluating your experience. It is satisfying to feel the desire that is born within you.

Our favorite thought is that of you allowing the Well-being that you are identifying to flow into your experience.

You cannot get it wrong, and you never get it done. And there is no possible way that you could ever displease that which is Non-Physically rooting for you and acknowledging the value of that which you are.
