ARTS

IT’S A BEAUTIFUL DAY

Artist Leah Abucayan has created a new mural masterpiece welcoming residents and visitors to downtown Lawrenceville along Crogan Street. Her mural was chosen for its colorful and upbeat vibe, perfectly capturing Lawrenceville's spirit and all it has to offer. Don’t miss it on your next drive through town!

FLOWERS OF THE FUTURE

The City of Suwanee’s Pierce’s Corner also recently got a makeover! The mural, “Futurist,” features a rainbow of colors, stunning florals and an aweinspiring portrait of a female astronaut, meant to symbolize hope as she looks toward the future. Grab a photo-op with her at the building off of Main Street in Old Town Suwanee.

LAWRENCEVILLE’S POOCH PLAYGROUND

Grab your pup and get ready to hit the town of Lawrenceville! The city just announced its plans for a new urban dog park right next to the Lawrenceville Lawn downtown. The .41-acre park will have designated play areas for large and small dogs, waste bins, water fountains and agility equipment. Find out more about the park’s opening at lawrencevillega.org.

NORCROSS BLUESBERRY BEER & MUSIC FESTIVAL

It’s that time again! The City of Norcross will once again paint the town blue for the annual Bluesberry Beer & Music Festival. On Sunday, June 15, from 3:00 to 10:00 p.m., all are invited to snack on blueberry treats and drinks served around town while enjoying some soulful, bluesy tunes. GET A HOBBY SURVIVING & THRIVING IN THE GREAT OUTDOORS

So, you’ve gone on a few hikes this summer, caught a sunrise or two, and maybe even went on an overnight camping trip. Still, do you feel like you haven’t gotten enough of Georgia’s vast wilderness? The best way to spice things up and take your hobbies to the next level would be to try a backcountry or primitive camping or backpacking experience.

Groups all over the state host experiences for outdoor adventurers of all levels if you’re looking for an added layer of protection and expertise. However, there’s no reason those really looking to immerse themselves in the great outdoors can’t host a trip of their own. You’ll just need to master a few survival skills and ensure the group is prepared for anything before hitting the true wilderness.

1. Pack Properly

The key to packing for any kind of backcountry trip is to work smarter, not harder. Whether you’re packing a backpack or your car, you’ll want to ensure all essentials are covered without taking up any unnecessary weight or space. Choose tools with dual purposes: a frisbee that doubles as a meal plate or a spork instead of a spoon and a fork. Basics like ropes, tarps and knives can be used for thousands of purposes, so be sure to include those in your packing lists as well!

2. Build a Fire

Whether you’re using a campfire for warmth, to ward off wildlife or for cooking, chances are you’ll need one at least once during your trip. Luckily, pretty much all of the fire-building materials you’ll need can be found in nature (but be sure to bring matches or a lighter of some sort).

Your campfire will require three parts that should all be added one after the other: tinder, kindling and fuel logs. Start by lighting a bundle of super dry and dead leaves, brush or grass with your match or lighter. Then, add thin twigs broken up into tiny pieces on top until those begin catching the flame. As you go, pile more prominent and bigger sticks on top until the flame is big enough to engulf large logs. From there, fuel your fire with logs long enough to use it and let it die out before hitting the hay.

3. Master the Art of Outdoor Cooking

Don’t let the excitement of your adventures distract you from mealtimes! You’ll need plenty of nutrients and electrolytes to get through each day, and while energy bars and trail mix are great on-the-go snacks, chances are you’ll want a real meal to sit down to at the end of the day. For that, you’ll need a small, portable camping stove and access to water.

You’d be amazed at the hundreds of meal possibilities that stem from a small pot of boiled water. In less than 10 minutes, you can dump the contents of a pre-packaged freeze-dried meal into the pot for dinner. Or, if you want the true comforts of home, cook noodles, oatmeal or couscous and add toppings like bacon bits, dried fruit or nuts to add variety.

4. Leave No Trace

No one should embark on a wilderness adventure without a knowledge of all seven Leave No Trace principles. We won’t go into each of them here, but they revolve around the core principles of leaving nature better than you found it and remaining conscious of wildlife and their natural habitats during your travels. Simple tips like carrying all of your trash with you, camping on durable surfaces and being respectful to wildlife and other campers or backpackers will help you be a friend to the trails and other outdoor enthusiasts!

5. Safety First!

Finally, only wander into an unfamiliar wilderness with a solid knowledge of wilderness first aid. Make sure to bring all necessary safety equipment and devise a plan to respond to emergencies that may arise well before embarking. Also, it’s best never to hike or camp alone! Make sure your hiking buddy is ready to call for help should something happen to you and vice versa.

PLAY DiG DEEP A SUMMER BUCKETLIST IN LAWRENCEVILLE

If you haven’t heard yet, the city of Lawrenceville is THE place to be this summer! And boy, do we have plans for you! With Downtown music and concerts on the lawn all summer, you won’t want to miss the special events and activities coming up in Lawrenceville! This summer, we encourage you to take advantage of the city’s unique creative spirit, music scene, art installations, murals and more!

March to your own beat at Beats on the Streets

To kick-start this summer-long party, Beats on the Streets will come to Downtown Lawrenceville every Thursday through July 25. The festivities will start at 6:00 p.m. when the downtown streets will come alive with music from different DJs each week. In between all of that singing and dancing, take a break to see the various art vendors and performances throughout the night! Relax and shop the streets for a delicious bite to eat, art walls, pop-up shops and more. Bring your family and friends for an unBEATable night of fun!

Attend a LIVE in the DTL concert. All Summer Lawn!

Calling all music lovers! What could be better than a free concert? A free concert with food trucks! This free summer-long concert series will come to Lawrenceville on May 17. The series will continue throughout the summer, with a Juneteenth Celebration, Prelude to the Fourth, and much more. All concerts will be free on the Lawrenceville Lawn. Concerts are family-friendly and pet-friendly, so bring your furry friends, grab some chairs and settle in for a jam-packed summer night of music and fun!

Explore the Great Outdoors

If you need a break from all that singing and dancing, just venture outside! One of my favorite things to do on a beautiful summer day is to get outside and enjoy the fresh air. Lucky for you, Lawrenceville has some perfect trails and parks to explore this summer!

The park on our Lawrenceville Summer Bucket List is Tribble Mill Park. With a playground, walking trails, a lake and a waterfall, Tribble Mill has everything you need for a summer day spent outdoors! We recommend walking the 2.8-mile paved trail that loops around the lake for scenic picture-perfect views! If you’re feeling more adventurous, the park has many trail options leading more towards woodsy areas. Nearby adventurers will also find the Tribble Mill Waterfall, a sliding rock where visitors can enjoy a splash in the summertime! Pack a bathing suit and take advantage of nature’s natural waterslide!

Take me out to a Ball Game!

Bring your family or friends to Coolray Field for a guaranteed home run! Lawrenceville is the home of the Gwinnett Stripers, a minor-league baseball team for the Atlanta Braves. Catching one of the home games this summer at Coolray Field is a must-see on this summer’s to-do list. This ballpark has it all; with souvenir shops, restaurants, breweries and an interactive area for kids to play, it’s the perfect place to spend a summer afternoon. Buy tickets for the family, grab some popcorn and cheer on our local Gwinnett Stripers for a Grand Slam summer!

We can promise there will never be a dull moment in Lawrenceville this summer! Check all these activities off your bucket list for a summer full of family, friends and fun!

SMALL BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT: CAVALRY GLASS BLOWING STUDIO

385 Born St NW, Lawrenceville, GA 30046

Facebook: Cavalry Glass Blowing Studio

Instagram: @cavalryglass

Prepare to be BLOWN away!! Local artist and expert Kelly Robertson has displayed his talents at the local Cavalry Glassblowing Studio. Visitors and shoppers alike can stroll through the gallery of elegantly crafted pieces or sign up for a class to create an original work of their own!

With over 20 years of experience working with glass, it’s safe to say that Robertson’s Cavalry Glass Studio gallery is filled with beautiful, unique pieces. As a Lawrenceville native, Robertson returned home to open his very own studio, and we can’t think of a better city to showcase this longtime local resident's artistic and creative talents. Shop the studio for one-of-a-kind signature Cavalry pieces such as seasonal decor, pumpkins, flowers, vases and more!

Owner of Cavalry Glass Studio, Kelly Robertson, is a one-person show. When he’s not sculpting pieces himself, he can be found sharing his knowledge with those brave enough to give the craft a try! With classes for all skill levels, beginners or more experienced artists can learn the tricks of the trade from Kelly himself!

The studio offers private classes and group classes in a range of different styles. Call the studio at (770)-317-1945 for group classes larger than eight, and they’ll set up a special class to accommodate you and your crew! Slower-paced classes will cover form and technique, while returning and advanced courses will tackle projects with slightly higher levels of difficulty. Check out the studio’s website for more information and to sign up for a course that works for you!

The Gallery and Studio are open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sundays from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Check Cavalry’s website, cavalryglass.com, for more information on specialty Saturday workshops this summer and group and private class times throughout the week. Make your very own work of art and take something home to impress your family and friends!

NEVER HAVE I EVER... HIKED THE APPALACHIAN TRAIL

I love the outdoors and always have. I was a competitive horseback rider for years and spent my summers floating around the Suwannee River in North Florida. Today, I love gardening, running and being in the fresh air. However, I married a true outdoor adventurer who has caved, hiked, climbed and boated his way all over the country.

When I mentioned to him that tackling a small portion of the Appalachian Trail would be fun, considering I have never even set foot on it, he was full of ideas and tips I thought we could share with you. The Appalachian Trail is over 2000 miles in length and traverses 14 states.

We will wait until fall for our personal trek, but you can never start planning too soon. So, if the A.T. has seemed fun but a little intimidating for you, here are some tips for your first hike:

1. Do a little research. Many resources and helpful vlogs can help you plan your first hike. If you are a hiking beginner, we recommend Bill Bryson’s book A Walk in the Woods. It is an oldie but a goodie and an excellent read for anyone interested in thru-hiking, even though we are primarily addressing day or section hiking. An app can also be helpful, and we suggest you check out “FarOut” to access maps and information vital to your success on the trail.

2. Take it easy at first. The A.T. is a challenging trail, so it's important to start with a route that matches your physical capabilities. Consider the weather forecast when choosing your gear (shoes, layers, pack, etc.) to make your hike more comfortable. Once you've built up some stamina with shorter hikes, you can gradually increase your distance.

3. Don't forget to pack the essentials: nutrient-rich food, plenty of water and some extra cash for emergencies. Remember, you'll be burning more calories than usual, so plan to snack a bit more than you normally would.

4. Learn and explore the principles of Leave No Trace and familiarize yourself with the correct practices for encountering wildlife. Protecting and preserving the trail is paramount; you must minimize your environmental impact.

5. Recruit a knowledgeable partner when possible. It is okay to be a total newbie and need assistance. The fun in this adventure starts with planning and ends with a safe and successful hike, no matter the distance.

The bottom line for me is simplicity. Starting out small, getting a feel for the trail and testing out my own stamina on shorter distances. If an off-grid kind of experience is calling your name, maybe it is time to try something new. We all know that we grow when we venture out of our comfort zones.

WE DiG: SUNSETS & SUNRISES!

Now that summer is here, the sun rises and sets just a little later in the day, giving us more time to soak up the rays and making catching a sunrise or sunset more doable. While a Gwinnett County sunrise is beautiful from any location, outdoor enthusiasts typically seek out the best possible vantage points for viewing the daily spectacle, and we don’t blame them!

Next time you want to add a little magic to your day, head to one of these spots around town for panoramic views that are sure to start you off on the right foot.

Stone Mountain:

There’s a reason Stone Mountain is Georgia’s most visited attraction. With gorgeous 360-degree views of the Atlanta skyline and Stone Mountain Lake, its peak is stunning at any time of day but particularly perfect for sunset spotting after a long day. The hike from the base to the summit is about a mile and typically takes around an hour to complete, so plan to arrive much earlier than the sun is supposed to set. The park is open from 6:00 a.m. to midnight daily, so don’t forget to bring a headlamp if you plan to hang around a bit after the sun goes down.

Little Mulberry Park Observation Hill:

Abundant nature and wildlife are common sightings at this local Dacula park. With 14 miles of walking trails spanning a meadow, a forest and a pond, you could spend all afternoon exploring the park's exciting features. However, you’ll want to head to the observation hill in the center of the park for the best possible sunrise and sunset views, complete with a beautiful backdrop.

Buford Dam:

For more stunning lake views without the uphill trek, Buford Dam is a picturesque spot to grab a picnic table or pull out a blanket and take in the sun’s orangey hue in the morning or evening. No hiking is necessary. As you walk across the dam, you’ll glimpse the Chattahoochee River and Lake Lanier simultaneously. The two iconic bodies of water, the surrounding rolling hills and the cotton candy skies all make for a picture-perfect photo op, so bring a camera!

So there you have it! Three of our favorite places to start or end your day in Gwinnett with some natural beauty. If you catch a particularly perfect sunrise or sunset during your visit to one of these spots, post it and tag us @diggwinnett so we can take in the view with you!

We agree that the classic s’more is just about as good as it gets, so gather your graham crackers, chocolate and marshmallows and get to roasting, or grab a couple more of these gourmet ingredients to step it up a notch!

First things first: Roast your marshmallows. Experts recommend the perfect golden brown comes from skewering your marshmallows and holding them about a foot from the flame, rotating them for a couple of minutes until they reach the perfect golden brown color.

Get Creative:

• For a more seasonal s’more, place your toasted marshmallow between two of your favorite chocolate chip cookies, add sliced strawberries, and enjoy this sweet summertime strawberry treat!

• Try this unique take on a classic s'more for all of the peanut butter connoisseurs out there. Between your graham crackers, layer peanut butter, sliced bananas, your toasted marshmallow and dark chocolate. You’ll go bananas for this one!

WALKING TACOS

Customizable, crunchy and convenient, walking tacos make the perfect fireside dinner while camping! This one-bag recipe is easy clean-up and the ideal way to satisfy your taco cravings at the campsite. This recipe takes only 30 minutes total and serves hungry campers!

Step 1: In a large cast iron skillet, sauté ½ chopped medium yellow onion in olive oil.

Step 2: Add 1 pound of ground beef to the skillet and stir occasionally while cooking.

Step 3: Drain the meat once it is fully cooked, then add two tablespoons of taco seasoning and ½ cup of salsa to the skillet. Let the mixture simmer for another 5-10 minutes.

Step 4: Remove taco meat from the skillet and gather the taco toppings of your choosing. We used lettuce, tomatoes, black beans, cheddar cheese, avocados, black olives, green onions and jalapeños. Customize your toppings however you like!

Step 5: Grab a chip bag of your choice and crush it up a little bit to get the perfect crunch factor in each bite. We recommend Doritos or Fritos, but feel free to get creative!

Step 6: Add a portion of your ground beef mixture to each bag. Next, add a dollop of sour cream and your favorite taco toppings.

Step 7: Grab a fork, stir it up and dig in! Enjoy your very own batch of walking tacos!

These campfire classics are simple but delicious. Enjoy these fireside eats on your next summer camping trip, or make them for a fun, family-friendly outdoor activity! Even if you’re stuffed after your delicious walking taco dinner, we promise there’s always room for s’more!

TIPSY: VINTAGES TASTING ROOM

In the heart of Downtown Lawrenceville, Vintages Tasting Room uncorks an experience like no other. It’s not just a wine journey; it’s a tale of two friends with a shared love for Gwinnett County and, of course, wine. Their story began in 2002 when Lorraine and MB crossed paths while serving on the Gwinnett County Planning Commission. Realizing their mutual passion for improving the community – and for a good glass of vino – they forged a friendship that has aged like fine wine.

Fast forward 20 years of laughter, friendship, and, yes, wine, the vision for Vintages finally materialized over a bottle of their favorite vintage. Since its grand debut in November 2023, this wine oasis has been tantalizing taste buds with glasses, flights and bottles of liquid gold that'll make patrons weak in the knees.

At Vintages, they believe there's a perfect wine for everyone, regardless of taste or budget. With a selection curated to surprise and delight, you'll find wines with stories as unique as the flavors themselves. Each month brings a new adventure as they feature different wines from around the world – reds, whites, bubbles and beyond. The friendly staff is always on hand to guide you through the grapevine and help you discover your new favorite sip.

But Vintages isn't just about the vino; it's a whole mood with scrumptious small bites and desserts to compliment your glass. Alongside her partner in wine, MB Strickland, Lorraine is on a mission to remind us that in a digital world, human connections truly matter. So, leave your Wi-Fi worries at the door and prepare to sip, swirl and socialize like never before.

From the satisfying pop of a champagne cork to the infectious laughter echoing off the walls, every moment at Vintages is infused with joy and camaraderie. So, what's the takeaway from a visit to Vintages Tasting Room? Wine should be fun, approachable and, above all, delicious. Whether you're a seasoned sommelier or a wine newbie, there's a glass with your name on it waiting to be raised in a toast to the good life—Lawrenceville style! Cheers!

TASTE TEST: ANEJO

¡Hola amigos!

Let me take you on a flavor-packed journey to Anejo, a vibrant Mexican eatery nestled in the heart of Lawrenceville. As I stepped through the doors, I was greeted by a cozy rustic ambiance adorned with brick walls, checkered floors and mood lighting, setting the perfect stage for an unforgettable dining experience. And let me tell you, the pièce de résistance was the upper-level patio, offering breathtaking views of charming Downtown Lawrenceville.

Now, onto the main event—the food! Each dish at Anejo is a culinary masterpiece, showcasing the rich tapestry of Mexican flavors from every corner of the country. But first, let's talk about the holy grail of Mexican appetizers— ‘Chips and Guacamole.’ The crisp, salty tortilla chips paired with the fresh, homemade guac were a match made in heaven, tantalizing my taste buds and leaving me craving more.

Of course, every Mexican feast is complete with a margarita in hand, and Anejo knows how to craft the perfect one. I opted for the ‘Spicy Mamacita,’ a fiery concoction of

spicy tequila, cucumber-pineapple infusion, Cointreau and lime. And if margaritas aren't your thing, fear not! Anejo offers an array of ‘Tequila Flights,’ allowing you to explore every flavor profile imaginable.

Now, onto the main event—the ‘Pollo Tacos.’ It was a tough decision with so many delicious options, but ultimately, the tacos stole the show. Served on black bean tortillas and topped with onions, cilantro and a zesty green chili sauce, each bite was a symphony of flavors that danced on my palate. Words can't describe how delicious these were; even writing about it makes my mouth water!

In conclusion, Anejo is a true gem in the Lawrenceville dining scene, offering an authentic Mexican experience like no other. While my stomach may not have been big enough to try everything on the menu, one thing's for sure—I'll be back for more. Until next time, Anejo!

Whether you're a seasoned paddler or a complete newbie, this trail caters to all skill levels. Plus, with various access points along the way, you can customize your adventure to suit your preferences. Want a leisurely afternoon paddle? Check. Craving a full-day excursion? Double-check. So, not only are you getting your dose of outdoor adventure, but you're also immersing yourself in the fascinating history of the region. One hidden gem along the way is historic Juliette, GA, once home to the largest water-powered grist mill in the country in the 1920s, but now probably better known as the backdrop for the iconic film Fried Green Tomatoes. Stop by the cafe from the movie, Whistle Stop Cafe, and enjoy a classic southern dish and, of course, fried green tomatoes!

ROAD TRIP: ANNA MARIA ISLAND

It’s no secret that most people dream of calling the beach home—or, even more, a sevenmile slice of tropical paradise surrounded by white sands and ocean on all sides. Anna Maria Island is one of the few Florida destinations that can boast of that. And while it may not be a permanent home to most people, it’s one of the only beach towns in the Southeast that manages to feel like home time and time again, thanks to its uncrowded nature and the locals’ slow pace of life.

The island is the perfect destination for a family-friendly tropical summer getaway that won’t break the bank. It eliminates the crowds, tourist traps and chaos common to most Florida destinations. Because of their relatively undisturbed natural habitats, wildlife sightings in and out of the water are abundant around the island. The beaches are peaceful, with colorful pastels of vacation homes lining their shores. At the same time, sidewalks and city streets stay busy with bicycles, one of the island’s most common means of transportation.

However, there are other ways to navigate this quaint island. The most unique is the AMI trolley, which travels up and down the island all day, dropping riders at the most popular beaches, bars and restaurants for completely free all day.

In place of tourist attractions and department store beach shops, the island is mostly home to local spots, such as ice cream shops, ocean-view restaurants and artisan-run gift shops. For a buzzing nightlife spot, you won’t want to miss Bridge Street. The eclectic shops along Pine Avenue will do the trick for souvenirs and a classic coastal vibe.

As for the island’s most popular to-dos, Anna Maria is known for the vast ocean views that jut off each of its scenic piers, including the Bradenton Beach Pier and the Anna Maria City Pier. While every beach promises thrilling waves and stunning views, Bean Point is along the island’s most northern tip and is known for some of the widest ocean views. For a personalized experience unlike any other, charter a fishing or sailing boat for a full day of sightseeing, fishing and swimming adventures, no planning required!

Finally, don’t cross the bridge back to the mainland without indulging in some of the island’s best seafood at The Ugly Grouper, Ginny and Jane E’s Cafe or Mar Vista. After playing, eating and living on island time, it’s time to head back home to Gwinnett with a week’s worth of incredible family memories in tow. But don’t be sad, there's always next year!

ADVENTURING OUTDOORS IN GWINNETT LISA’S LIST

With summer rolling around, now is the time to start planning your favorite things to see, do and experience, especially if you are hosting friends and family.

Gwinnett is home to new, high-profile attractions, but even for families on a budget, there are plenty of opportunities to explore the great outdoors without breaking the bank.

Here is my Summer Top Ten “Must-Do’s”

When accessibility matters most, Rabbit Hill Park is the place to be. With a fully paved, 10-foot-wide smooth path, it is ideal not only for walkers and bikers but for locals and visitors who are in wheelchairs, using mobility equipment or just pushing a stroller. With a threemile loop and a quiet elevation, it is an effortless way to explore (we recommend bringing binoculars to check out the unique bird species at the popular birder hangout).

Kids will love Double Durango Farms, located in Loganville. They offer kid-friendly farm tours featuring Nigerian dwarf goats, as well as monthly goat yoga. Tours are by appointment only.

For those looking for cardio, pack up your bikes and head to the Suwanee Creek Greenway, adjacent to Town Center Park. The six-mile round-trip trail takes cyclists through wildlife-rich wetlands and forests. With numerous boardwalks and just one road to cross as it winds through 400 acres of parkland, it’s a great fit for novices as well. Park at the main trailhead, located at Suwanee Creek Park.

There are dozens of reasons why Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation (GCPR) facilities are consistently named the best in the country. These facilities feature hiking, biking, disc golf, equestrian trails, sports fields, mountain biking, disc golf, tennis facilities, pickleball, bocce ball and more.

GCPR’s extraordinary Aquatic Centers are full of water features, bubble benches, giant slides and even lazy rivers. A new park favorite is Maple Creek Park in Dacula, which boasts a ninehole disc golf course as well as a brand-new, interactive playground.

My favorite ‘secret’ park activity is the Tribble Mill Waterfall, where water flows slowly over giant granite plates, allowing even the youngest to explore the water, tube and just enjoy the great outdoors at one of Georgia’s best parks.

For budget-minded adventurers, even Georgia’s busiest attraction: Stone Mountain Park, offers adventures that will not break the bank. A hike up Stone Mountain affords gorgeous, 360-degree vistas across metro Atlanta’s tree canopy, spanning from Gwinnett to the downtown skyline to the North Georgia Mountains. The walk-up trail seems short—just a mile— but with a 700-foot elevation gain, your heart will be pumping.

If zipping through the trees (or just watching your kids do it) is your idea of fun, spend a summer day at Treetop Quest in Buford, located on the campus of the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center (also recommended). Whether you are an apprehensive or experienced zipliner, they have an adventure for both the novice and the bold, the young and the old. Do not miss their ‘bonus’ adventure, Spider Quest, a harness-free course above a giant safety net!

After-hours, don’t miss the new TopGolf. Located at the Exchange at Gwinnett, TopGolf offers indoor and outdoor fun. It features 72 climate-controlled hitting bays, a full-service restaurant and bar, a rooftop terrace with a fire pit, and over 200 HDTVs for your enjoyment. If pickleball is more your jam, head over to the newly opened Pickle & Social, also featuring indoor/outdoor pickleball courts, a rooftop bar, a full-service restaurant and outdoor green space.

If time is on your side, consider day wiling your way down the Chattahoochee on a tube or kayak. With single-tube pricing starting at $10, it is a budget-friendly, adventurous way to spend the day. Chattahoochee River Tubing, located on Abbotts Bridge Rd in Duluth, will take single tubers, group tubers, kayakers and paddleboarders down the busy Chattahoochee starting in May.

Visit exploregwinnett.org for more details. We highly recommend buying online tickets for all attractions in advance to ensure availability (and check out our deals page for any discounts offered).
