“Let’s Go 1”

English Version

Since moving from Holy Mountain to Phnom Penh at the end of September last year, we have encountered significant differences compared to our previous rural village life. Under the arrangement of the Chinese Chris an Mission (CCM) field

director, we have started serving at the CCM’s Beimen Educa on Center. We praise Godthatalthougheverythingisnew,Hehas abundantlygranteduswisdomandstrength, enablingustograduallydeveloptheministry over the past few months. We know this is purelybyHisgrace, andwegivealltheglory andpraisetoourGod.

Aswesharedlast me:

1. Monday to Friday, we teach a two-hour Englishclass,*Let'sGo1*,atthecenter.The center offers 12 classes daily, running from Monday to Friday. Though lesson prepara on, teaching, and grading assignments keep us busy, we truly enjoy beingwiththechildren.

5. Addi onally, we thank God that during Christmas, our center hosted two evangelis c mee ngs (one in the morning and one in the a ernoon), with around 60 students a ending. We shared the full gospelmessagethroughpassagesfromLuke onthebirthofJesus.Duringthealtarcall,we sawalmostallthechildrenraisetheirhands, expressing their willingness to believe in Jesus. We prayed for and let them blessed from Jesus Christ, knowing this is just the beginning on the journey home. May God truly work in their hearts, keeping and transformingtheirspirits.

2. Saturdays, we conduct morning and a ernoon Chinese classes, totaling four hours. Ini ally, we only had a few students, butnownearlyadozenchildrenarelearning Chinese.A erseveralmonthsofstudy, they canalreadya emptsimpleconversa ons.

3. Also on Saturdays, Ping provides free acupuncture treatment for the local community. However, unlike in the rural village, theMeimenCenterissurroundedby many hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies, makingmedicalresourcesreadilyavailable.

Pleasecon nuetoprayforus—asking God to grant us strength and wisdom to servefaithfullyattheCCMBeimenEduca on Center in Phnom Penh. Also, pray for the children and for the teachers who have yet tocometofaith.

4. Sundays, we hold Sunday worship and Sunday school for the children. Through songs, message sharing, Bible stories, scripture memoriza on, and cra s, we connect with them and introduce them to God.

Health Update

We recently followed up on the doctor’s previous advice and underwent a comprehensive medical check-up, including ultrasound, enhanced ultrasound, CT scans, sinus issues, dental concerns, cancer markers, bloodtests, andallergytes ng.We also scheduled a renal cyst puncture and sclerotherapy procedure. The suspected problema c 2F sclero c cyst on my right kidney remains stable without changes, similar to the last evalua on. Compared to ourprevioustestsinCanada, therehasbeen noincreaseinnodulesinthekidneys, spleen, or lungs. The cancer markers we were

concerned about all came back nega ve. However,thetwo4cmnodulesinthespleen remain indeterminate, and the doctor recommends biannual monitoring to observe any changes. My enlarged prostate condi on persists, but PSA markers (both total andfree)arenormal, requiring regular follow-up.

We are deeply grateful to God for His protec on over our health. Since returning to Phnom Penh, we have strengthened our exerciserou ne,lostasignificantamountof weight, and maintained a healthy diet and regular rest. The CPAP machine prescribed by the doctor last me also seems to be helpful.WethankGodforeverything!
