Spirit Week 2019
Spirit week has been celebrated for another year. This is a celebration at the school as the children finish up their mid-year exams. We really enjoy celebrating alongside everyone, and seeing our friends at the parades.

Our outdoor playground Our outdoor playground is coming along nicely. We are so very lucky to have the support of our school to provide the opportunity to extend and add those extra challenges that our children need in a playground. It is so close to being finished and the children are so excited to be able to play on it. The transformation that happened with our infant’s playground was outstanding and the children have loved the new equipment and feel of the upgraded space. We can’t wait to see the final look of the big kid’s playground.

ERO Review Our ERO review went very smoothly and the centre was found to have meet all areas in providing care and education for your children. Our final report is due out shortly and ill post a link to this on Storypark as soon as it is available. We are very proud of what we have achieved as a centre over the past year. Please see the attached report on Storypark.
Infant enrolments We are very excited to say that our infant numbers in the centre are becoming very full. If you maybe needing extra days or know of someone that may want to enrol in the future, get in touch and we can ensure that you don’t miss out.
Open day Open day our next open day is Wednesday the 12th June from 2pm-7pm. Please invite anyone along that may be interested in joining or having a look at our preschool.
Policy review
Policy review: This month we are reviewing our settling and transition policy, through this review we will be asking some parents on their thoughts on their child’s transition into the centre, between rooms and from preschool to school. This will give us great feedback on what we are doing well and what we could improve on. These policies will be up on Storypark for you to read please feel free to add as many comments as you would like. We need your feedback.
Wet bags When all children enrol with us they are given a sun hat and wet bag. Could we ask that all children have their wet bag in the school bag so we can pop all wet clothes in as needed. Two named spare changes of clothes at this time of year is needed as we still have sand and water play and change children when they get too wet or damp. As our children are engaged in play for a big part of the day they can get changed several times.
New uniform As most of you are aware we have been looking at different options for our uniforms as the quality of what we do have, has not lasted as they should. Our supplier has agreed and is suppling each child that has purchased a shirt previous, a free shirt. This is wonderful news and very soon we will have them all in stock. We have our model Michael here showing us the new shirt which is a quick dry material but we will also have the option of a polyester/cotton blend (like the current shirt) for those that need it. I will let you all know when these will be available, as I know many of you are needing to replace your shirts
