• Registration is open from Wednesday, 28 February at 10:00 AM

• Registration will close on Wednesday, 6 March at 01:00 PM.

• All payments must be made by 01.00 PM 8 March 2024

Purpose

This handbook aims to set out the necessary guidelines and processes to make participation in after-school activities at ACG School Jakarta successful for all involved.

Terms and Conditions

REGISTRATION

• All after-school activities will runs for 8-10 sessions/meetings (depends on the day of the week).

• Registration period is from 28 February - 6 March 2023.

• On 8 March 2024, we will send you an email confirmation and invoice to confirm the running activities.

• If your chosen activity is not being run, we will notify you by email and you will be given you a chance to re-register for the running activities.

• Re-registration is from 12 - 15 March 2024. Registration through the activity leader after the registration period closed is now allowed.

PAYMENT

• The activities payment deadline is on 6 March 2024 at 01.00 PM

• Any unpaid activities after the payment deadline will be offered to students in the registration queue.

• Any unpaid activities will be marked as VOID registration.

• Any cancellation after the first session will require full payment.

• Any activity not included in the price list below is non charged

• All activities fees are non-refundable.

PARKING ARRANGEMENTS

• Starting at 3:30 PM entrance gate will be re-open for after-school activity pick up. Please ensure your driver knows the finish time of your children's activity.

• The area in front of the office must NOT be used for pick-up or drop-off.

• All pick-ups will be from the roundabout area starting at 4.00 PM

• Siblings not participating in an activity must make arrangements to leave campus at dismissal time.

ATTENDEE

• Parents will be notified by email if there is any cancellation for an activity. In running ASA, a phone call notification will only be given if the cancellation is less than an hour after ASA starting time.

• A make-up class will not be available during the current ASA, due to the

In this class, they will learn to improve the freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly swim strokes. The students cover longer distances swims in both freestyle and backstroke. Padel sometimes called Padel Tennis is a racket sport of Mexican origin, typically played in doubles on an enclosed court slightly smaller than a doubles tennis court. In this activity, students would be trained to have better strategic thinking, decision-making, and quick reflexes. This mental stimulation is beneficial for individuals of all ages, contributing to cognitive development and enhancing concentration and focus.

Learn to Swim - Beginners

At this class, student gaining confidence about being in the water. First few sessions will be just partial to being fully submerged and learning to do front and back floats. This level is the initial preparation of understanding the movement of the body in water. By the end of this level, the student will be able to float and move unassisted in the water using front and back kicks in the streamline mode and learn more about the front movement and back movement of the arms

Taekwondo

Taekwondo is a Korean martial art distinguished by its long-range kicking techniques. Taekwon- do helps children thrive academically and improves their cognitive and academic performance. Through Taekwondo, children stay physically active, which keeps the brain healthy by boosting cognitive performance, facilitating the growth of new neurons, and improving concentration and memory. The fee excludes uniforms and tools with a total of 200,000 IDR that can be purchased through the coach directly.

Pencak Silat

Pencak Silat Kids is a traditional self-defence and martial arts club from Indonesia where children can learn to build up their motoric, strength and movement. The kids can learn how to punch and kick while learning to use several martial weapons like defence fan, Long Sticks, Nunchaku, etc. It's FUN, Sports activities and Discipline Development. The fee excludes uniforms and tools with a total of 330,000 IDR that can be purchased through the coach directly.

Painting

Research has shown that ongoing activities in the fine and performing arts benefit young minds by stimulating learning in several ways. Students learn self-discipline, social interaction, analysis, and self-motivation. Painting is a way for children to do many important things: convey ideas, express emotion, use their senses, explore color, explore process and outcomes, and create aesthetically pleasing works and experiences.

Primary Basketball Club

Elevate basketball classes are a high-energy mix of skills, drills, modified games and games/friendlies in a fun and safe environment. These classes emphasize fundamentals and are the perfect opportunity for students at all levels to work on ball handling, shooting, passing, overall movements, and knowledge of the sport. Students will work with inspiring coaches and have the chance to learn from ex professional players

Art is not just an expression of emotion but also a medium for communicating ideas. It can act as therapeutic relief, a conduit for self-expression, or simply a way to appreciate life's beauty. Through art, we can chronicle history, embody societal values, and comment on political or social events. Pottery gives them planning and spatial awareness. Children must take care to carefully think about their actions – is the clay too thick or the colour good enough, is the composition nice and so on It forces them think about and plan what they want to do to with their creations

Roblox Game Development

Students learn to design and code various games using Scratch visual programming during the course. Students learn to implement programming concepts such as functions, loops, conditional statements, and variables. By the end of this course, the student will create different kinds of interactive animations and features of classic games. In addition, students will utilize and improve their problem-solving skills and logical thinking. The fee includes books and materials.
