If your child join the morning class, we advise studens to arrive after 7.30am. Students are asked to wait in the canteen at their assigned group level tables. At 7.55am, a teacher will take students to their classes.
For students that join the English Camp, kindly arrive at lease 15 minutes before the class start.
• School bag
• Water bottle
• Snack box – if your son/daughter has food that requires being kept cool, it is essential the snack box is insulated and has an ice pack inside.
• Hat – no student will be allowed to play outside without a hat.
• Sunscreen – students should have sunscreen applied each day.
• Tissue or handkerchief
• ACG will provide all stationery and learning materials during the programme.
ACG School Jakarta Summer Programme students are expected to maintain a high standard of personal grooming and cleanliness. Students should also bring a change of sports and swim wear for scheduled activities and swimming lessons.
The following are considered not suitable:
• Singlets
• Inappropriate messages and slogans on any garments
• Ripped or holed clothing
• Brief or skimpy clothing, including very short shorts
• Adequate coverage is expected. For example the midriff should not be exposed; students should not wear tops that are cut too low.
• Footwear is required to be worn at all times. Sandals may be worn, but flip flops are not acceptable.
NOTE: Students are asked to come to school wearing their sports clothes on days in which they have sport, and their swimsuit on days when they have swimming.
Your child’s health and safety is our number one priority. Therefore, ACG School Jakarta will have a full time nurse on call during programme hours.
The school has developed a comprehensive health and safety contigency plan. A responsibility declaration is also required before a student can start the programme.
Responsibility Declaration
Owing to the fact that they may be easily lost or broken, children are asked not to bring toys, electronic devices or other valuable items to school. We ask parents to not give their child money to bring to school, unless it is for the canteen.
The school will not take any responsibility for expensive items being lost or stolen during the school day as we strongly recommend these do not come to the campus.
Please read the following regulations governing the issue of your vehicle entry sticker. Once you have read these regulations, please complete the registration form HERE
Failure to adhere to these regulations in the future can lead to the withdrawal of your car pass and vehicle entry being denied into the school campus. Vehicle Regulations:
• NO STANDBY To enter ACG premises, the vehicle must be registered upon entering our campus.
• Vehicles will be admitted to campus if the car is on the list.
• Drivers must obey the campus traffic regulation at all times.
• Security staff and other ACG staff members are trained to follow school regulations, and their instructions must be followed. Please note that security regulations may change from time to time.
• Drivers must be courteous to residents, pedestrians and give the right of way to children
Parking Procedures
• For pedestrian safety, from 7:30 am to 8:00 am and from 10:30 to 11.00 pm, the area in front of the lobby must NOT be used for pick-up or drop-off.
• Please have your child ready for drop-off on arrival and remind them to come right out to pick up after school.
• The Bus Pick-up and Parking Zone are located alongside the field. Bus travellers should assemble in the designated area of the ‘blue” covered zone near the soccer field.
• For self-drive parents, drop-off parking is available in front of the office for only 10 minutes.
• Drivers who are not parents will NOT be permitted to park on campus.
• Pick-up should only occur from the roundabout area and NOT from the site in front of the office.
• Parents can wait if their child/ren ONLY joins for one class per day. They can remain in the cafeteria only and exchange their ID card with a visitor cards at the entrance gate.
Specific Pick-up Procedures
• 8:50 am: Cars will be permitted to enter the campus to pick up the morning class
• 10:50 am: Cars will be allowed to enter the campus to pick up the afternoon class
• Pick-up will be from the roundabout area. Again, in the interests of safety, parents and students are requested NOT to exit from the lobby area.
• Children should wait in the canteen area under the supervision of Teaching Assistants.
