The right iris reflects the organs found mainly on the right side of the body: the liver, gallbladder, the ascending colon etc. The left iris shows organ signs that are found mainly on the left: the spleen, descending colon, heart, etc. Those organs located in the middle are found in both irises, such as the brain, which is found in both irises between the areas of 11.00 and 1.00.

Lymphatic Neurogenic Constitution

Neurogenic Iris Subtype Potential Characteristics: •Hard worker, strong drive, industrious, diligent, they work ‘till they drop •Strong ability to resist disease, heal easily •Weakness in central and autonomic nervous system, they are often intense people •Very sensitive, may have headaches, nervous system disorders, skin eruptions due to affliction of the nervous system •May have ulcers or vascular spasms with special risk in cerebral vessels

Lymphatic Neurogenic Constitution

Suggestions for Neurogenic Subtype

•Avoid stimulants such as coffee, black tea, sugar, soft drinks, cigarettes, alcohol and junk foods. •Eat foods high in B vitamins to support the nervous system such as whole grains, legumes, brewers yeast, rice bran syrup, lecithin, black walnuts, soaked nuts and seeds, rice bran syrup and egg yolks. •Mineral support is essential from liquid trace minerals, green vegetables, soaked nuts and seeds.

Suggestions for Neurogenic Subtype continued •Stress

reduction therapy, music, massage, and emotional rest. Avoid loud noise. •Exercise and deep breathing are important. •Skin brush daily, have warm baths, drink chamomile tea. •Avoid eating late. •Learn how to live with change. Release negative emotions. Keep a positive attitude.

Lymphatic Polyglandular

1

Potential Characteristics •Deficiencies and weakness in glandular system overall •Weakness in the gastrointestinal system and irregularity of the bowels •Glandular function insufficiency: digestive, pancreas, gallbladder, adrenals, pituitary, pineal, thyroid, parathyroid, and gonads. Decreased hormonal or endocrine glandular function. •Possible weakness in the heart, liver, kidneys •These people usually always crave sweets and have a tendency to be hypoglycemic •May have hypoglycemia and/or diabetes in the family

Anxiety Tetanic Subtype

Observe- circular arcs or portions of arcs spread throughout the iris. Also called cramp rings, stress rings, contraction furrows, sensitivity rings, or accomplishment rings. Caused by a buckling of the fibers due to prolonged excessive stress; can be seen in any color iris.

1

Observe- the concentric rings circulating the iris. Notice the “bicycle spokes lines stemming from the autonomic nerve wreath or collarette. These lines signify signs of malabsorption. Notice also where the breaks in the rings lie, these points will usually point to areas of low vitality or chronic condition.

1

Observe lacunae and honeycombs positioned in a “daisy petal or geometric pattern around the autonomic nerve wreath. You will see tight fibers underneath and a pattern more symmetrical than the Connective Tissue Subtype.

Neurogenic Very Resilient

1

Very resilient types are prone to stiffness and rigidity, both physically and emotionally, and eventually may suffer in later life from rheumatism or even kidney or gallstones. It is interesting that silk types are increasingly rare. ACHS President Dorene Petersen notes: I have observed irises for over 20 years and used iridology as a diagnostic tool in my clinical work for twelve years. In all the irises I have looked at I have never seen a child or person under 30 with a very resilient iris. Elderly folk are more likely to have a a very resilient iris and occasionally I have seen this constitution in a 30-50 year old. Does this mean we are becoming inherently weaker with each generation? Remember the texture of your iris is something you cannot change — it is what you have inherited from your grandparents and their parents. You can, however, discover your potential strengths and weaknesses and how best to develop and strengthen them.

Words of wisdom from Dr. Bernard Jensen. Spend time reviewing the recommendati ons for each constitutional type.

White crisscross threads within a closed lesion indicate healing is taking place.

Here we see healing lines within lesions in a brown iris. The more filled in the more advanced the healing

REMEMBER

2

It is a Lymphatic Polyglandular subtype. Were you correct?
