During the last 15 month I took about 8.000 photos in my studio and around. I experimented with clay, wire, wood and so many more materials and objects. Just to name some things, I covered a chair in concrete and glued around 1000 pearls on fabric. I bent candles, grinded stone for weeks and smashed a lot of beautiful ceramics just to photograph the shards.
This time was an incredible journey full of development, doubts, mistakes and freedom to do everything I think is necessary to push my work forward. Result is a brand new body of photographic collage works. But as a side-effect also objects and poems I will not release yet. Everything was part of the journey. Part of the process. And today I can honestly say that I couldn’t be more thankful for this experience. Today I feel like shake the hand of each and every work, laugh about beautiful moments and finally getting more and more sure about the fact:
“These works guided me for so long, I think now it’s time to let them go.”
