Five players said good-bye to Judson University but they left a legacy that will be hard to fill. Three seniors played all four years for Becky Stenning and set the foundation for a strong program while two played their final two years at Judson. Nicole Dimiceli, Carrie Sensor, and Kristin Krueger all played four years while Brittany Holm and Haley Secor finished their final two years. All five Judson started off the 2011 year in Arizona where players are in the career record books top 20 for they went 8-4. It was a year for individual awards, too, as head coach Becky Stenning was given three “coach of the year” awards and Nicole Dimiceli earned the program’s first-ever NAIA All-American award and CoSIDA Academic All-American award. Judson had seven athletes receive awards in which five earned All-CCAC awards. The team also broke four team records in 2011 in wins (32), batting average (.334), triples (23), and walkes (119).
CCAC Championship
Judson won seven of their final eight CCAC games to tie for the regular season championship with Olivet Nazarene University and Saint Xavier University. Judson finished at 14-4 and swept CCAC wins over St. Francis, Robert Morris, Cardinal Stritch, and PurdueNorth Central. They split with CCAC power houses Olivet Nazarene and Saint Xavier. Judson defeated #18 Olivet Nazarene in game one of the series, 5-1, as Sam Gladen had nine strikeouts. In the split with Saint Xavier, Judson came from behind in game two with back-to-back-to-back home runs in the fifth inning scoring nine runs in the final two innings for the win, 9-7. Judson won the regular season championship on their own field on senior day with a sweep of Trinity International University, 14-6, and 3-1.
NAIA/NCCAA National polls
For the first time in the history of the program, Judson University was mentioned in a NAIA National Poll. On April 26th, Judson received one vote in the NAIA National Poll which is the first-ever for the program. They followed that with one vote in the May 3rd poll, too. In the NCCAA National Poll, Judson was ranked consistently in the top 5 all year long.

She has earned numerous awards in four years. She is a four-time winner for AllCCAC first team, NCCAA All-American firstteam, and NCCAA All-Region. She has won numerous CCAC and NCCAA National Players of the Week and been a NAIA and NCCAA scholar-athlete, twice. This year, she earned Judson’s first-ever NAIA All-American award and CoSIDA Academic All-American award. Sensor leaves Judson holding the career record for at-bats with 683, just three more Dimiceli. She holds the single season record for runs scored (54) in 2009 and at-bats (208) in 2010. Overall, she finished her career second in hits (241), stolen bases (46), and runs scored (169), third in walks (48), seventh in RBI (64), and 10th in doubles (16). In single season records, she is mentioned 11 times and is in the top 10 three times for hits and at-bats. She has been on the All-CCAC team, twice, NCCAA All-Tournament team, NFCA All-Region, and NCCAA All-Region.
In two years, both Secor and Holm helped Judson to back-to-back 30-win seasons. Secor leaves Judson 10th all-time in doubles with 16 and is eighth in single season for doubles (12) from 2010. Holm finishes her career with 16 stolen bases which puts her eighth all-time. She is 11th in single season stolen bases in 2011 with Krueger finishes her career at Judson fourth in at-bats (520) and runs scored (112), fifth in 11. walks (38), sixth in hits (152), and 11th in RBI (48). Five players earned All-CCAC awards in 2011 which is the most under head coach Becky Stenning. Three were named first-team while two were second team. Nicole Dimiceli, Sam Gladen, and Emily England were named to the first team and Carrie Sensor and Erin Stankus were on the second team. It was the fourth year in a row that Dimiceli was named to the All-CCAC first-team. Gladen, England, and Stankus all earn their first award from the CCAC. It was Sensor’s second award as she was a first-team selection in 2009.
