Work Experience Homy International Landscape Design co. ltd. - Guangzhou, People’s Republic of China (Assistant Landscape Architect) November 2013 - May 2014 Homy specialises in the design and construction of both public and commercial projects throughout China. I was given the opportunity to work with the company as an international intern to work with senior designers on a range of projects, meeting with clients for design proposals and attending official meetings and construction sites. During this time I gained a wealth of experience through working with a dedicated and professional team, combined with immeasurable experience of life and working in a foreign environment. The Wildlife trust - Sheffield, United Kingdom (Volunteer) June 2013 - September 2013 I worked with the ‘living with Nature’ team on a number of activities including setting out and instructing other volunteers. Other work included a number of office based tasks such as producing publicity material and working on the development of site designs through Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD and Sketch-up. Bents Green Specialist School - Sheffield, United Kingdom (Volunteer) November 2012 - Present Bents Green is a specialist school, catering for pupils aged 11-19 with Autistic Spectrum Disorders and Learning Difficulties.On multiple occasions I have volunteered to assist the preparation of the site and the construction of design, along with a team of othervolunteering students and school staff. In the coming months I shall continue to volunteer at the school, and I look forward to seeing the project through to completion. Heeley development trust is an independent local charity, led by and employing local people. During the summer of 2012 I was granted the opportunity to assist the re designing and construction of Heeley Millennium Park.
