Brief To produce a publication based on last years Premier League statistics. The publication was aimed at fans, so had to be content driven and interesting enough to capture interest.

Concept Big is beautiful. Oversized content with a minimalistic aesthetic. Balance between type and image had to be considered.

Resolution The publication was produced based on key statistics. Club specific publications were also designed as inserts to the main report.

Information graphics Each spread featured custom information graphics based on each set of statistics. The graph on the left symbolises the average goals scored per club. The outer section denotes the goals scored, where as the inner section relates to goals conceded. The dotted

line then tells us the overall goal difference. The league table on the right is a direct representation of the final standings and the leading is calculated by the number of points between each club.

Brief To design an identity for an upcoming Screen Yorkshire conference showcasing 3D technology across Film, Games, TV and Interactive Media.

Concept Typographically driven 3D. Impactful and recognisable.

Resolution An identity with a stylised 3D effect supplied in a variety of colour options, to be used across a range of media.


Brief To produce and promote a range of typography driven t-shirts for the skateboarding brand Element. The range would be aimed at males aged 16-24 who have an interest in skateboarding its fashion trends.

Concept 100% Element. The concept relates to what it takes to be a pro skateboarder. Passion, drive and commitment.

Resolution A range of 5 t-shirts were designed as well as the promotional material. The t-shirts pictured here make use of a custom typeface inspired by information graphics. Each chart relates to a skating fact that can be looked up in the promotional leaflet.


Brief To produce a publication for fine artist Garry Barker, which is content driven and can be easily updated. The publication had to be designed for a range of content including essays, exhibition promotion and other advertising material.

Concept The many disciplines that Garry was involved with required a pack that could hold differing content that was user friendly. I played on the fact Garry had many areas he was involved with, all of which could be presented under one identity,

Resolution The pack was designed to fold out into four sections where the content would be held. The pack itself was printed on grey board, and tied in with the eco theme Garry wanted to adopt. A number of identities were also designed to brand the content.


I am a 26 year old graphic designer from Castleford, West Yorkshire. I design with a focus on typography and layout across a variety of media for both high-end commercial print and web. I am in the final year of my degree and currently looking for work experience and placements I Predominantly design for print but also have a keen eye on new technologies that can transform design delivery.
