Elecstroke
ELECSTROKE A decorative typeface that is inspired by the circuit of motherboard. It is a geometric and monolinear typeface, that is great in display sizes but yet still readable for large body text.This typeface could be used for technology-related usages, such as movie posters, book covers or even logotype.

Background If I were following my father back then, I might be studying ICT right now instead of graphic design. My good grades in it made him suggested me to study ICT, but I felt like my interest in graphic design is bigger than that. So today I relate my interest in ICT and design through Elecstroke. Motherboard is an essential piece of every gadget’s, even if it’s small in size. Motherboard is like the brain, the headquarter, the one who process and connect commands for the gadget to work. Without it, gadgets could not work and useless.

First stroke
Second stroke
The first version has so much details that could only be seen in big font size. It is only suitable for heading since small size will reduce the details.
Based on advices given, the strokes gap is widen and less details from the strokes. This is to form new identity, not just filling up the existing letter ‘a’.

Final stroke Thicker stroke and less loop to make it stronger. This version has a new feeling and could be seen in medium size.
