This video is from a math class, but could be used easily in an English/Language Arts class as well. As you begin to plan your units, will you use an activity at the beginning of class as students are coming in? Something like this could this be used to assess prior knowledge or be a review from yesterday’s lesson. This activity could be adapted to use with vocabulary questions, literary review, inference, etc.
