Mithilanchal is shaped by the river, its floods and the land’s vulnerability to cyclones and earthquakes.The rural fabric of this drain land incorporates the greens of farming and the bamboo groves; the blues of the rivers (Kosi & Ganga) and the pokhars (surface reservoirs), spotted by the problems like urbanization, poverty and pollution.
