NIR Portable Liquids Analyzer A breakthrough portable NIR analyzer that has been designed for liquid sample analysis in a wide range of applications. The analyzer is based around a proven MEMS spectrometer which, coupled with a patented optical design produces outstanding photometric stability and excellent instrument-to-instrument repeatability. The sapphire liquid sampling interface is thermally controlled and has a range of 15°C to 45°C. It is also extremely hard wearing and will resist attack by most substances.

Typical applications

The sample is sealed by locking the lid into place with a highly accurate pathlength of 1mm. Any excess sample is held in the sampling area and can be easily cleaned away.

Blending liquids (mixes) Wine analysis Water in solvents Olive/vegetable/essential oils QA and goods inwards checking Lubricants

ATEX approval means the Specac™ PLA can be used in a wide range of hazardous environments as well as a number of other industries. The rugged design means that wherever it is used the instrument will continue to give outstanding performance even in the harshest of environments.

Bluetooth capability means that the unit can be used in conjunction with a PDA or any Bluetooth enabled device giving the Specac™ PLA excellent portability and flexibility. The software supplied with the PDA means the instrument can be configured for user specific applications. The very latest lithium ion power pack technology means you can run the instrument for long periods even under the most demanding of duty cycles. Power pack recharge times are kept to a minimum which means your instrument is available to deliver value to your measurement processes and optimise efficiency.
