Secondary Indicator : SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASES

Definition

This indicator tracks the number of cases and annual case rates per 100,000 population of reportable sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) including chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, and HIV/AIDS in children 10 to 17 years of age.

* Rates per 100,000 population; rates based on less than five events are unstable, and therefore should be interpreted with c aution. **Does not include congenital cases resulting from mother to child transmission.
