“Currently there are no plans to relocate the Allora Sports Museum to the Senior Citizens Hall. Officers recently presented a number of options for the Senior Citizens Hall at a Councillor Information Session, however no reports have been presented to Council for a decision. At the information session, it was noted to Councillors that it would be a lengthy and costly process to change the trust conditions for the Senior Citizens Hall.

Council officers recently briefed Councillors on the delivery of library services for all towns and villages across the Southern Downs at an information session. The recommendation will now be tabled to Council, with a view to providing “a library service for all seasons: Creating an agile future for the Southern Downs” a Council Spokesperson said.
