Southern Downs author Scott Rawstorne will release his 2nd Edition of The Paddler’s Guide to Queensland this Sunday 30th April from 9am at Storm King Dam.

As well as the book signing Scott will go for a paddle around the Lake and will welcome anyone who would like to join him.

This 2nd edition of his book contains six Southern Downs paddling destinations including Talgai Weir, Warwick, Lake Leslie, Connolly Dam, Storm King Dam, and Glenlyon Dam.

Allora Community Competition Day is on again. These competitions are open to all people of the community, not just CWA members. They are to be held in the CWA rooms at 51 Warwick Street in Allora on Saturday 27th May. The day will start at 10am after all the judging has been ﬁnalised. Come along and have some morning tea and get your ﬁll of all the wonderful craft and cooking on display.
