Under 8 – The Railway Hotel, Allora Under 8 played a sensational game to start off the 2023 season. Henry Ferguson, Jackson Wilson, Leo Williams, Kit Gilmore, Jay Townsend, Archie Moore, Chaz Daley, James Patterson and Buddy Turner are looking forward to the season ahead.

Under 9 – Wattles Dalrymple Landscape Haulage Pty Ltd Under 9 line-up put together “a great game to start the season” according to coach Chris Ryan, “the team performed well in attack and defence.” Isaac Saddlier impressive 5 tries, Hunter Ryan 3 and Rhys Gascoyne 3.

Under 12 – The Warriors’ Ryanie for Tyres Under 12’s impressed throughout highlighted by Jack Harrigan’s all round hard work, and Jed Hinz and Jake Burns ability leading the players around the field.

Under 13 - The Nutrien Harcourts Clifton Under 13’s were too strong for Toowoomba’s Southern Suburbs Tigers, an Under 12 team who kindly filled the gap given Eastern Suburbs are not fielding a line-up this year. The Tigers were no match for the home side Warriors though, who put on a try scoring display to lead 48 – 0 at full time.

Under 15 - Wattles Drayton Medical Centre Under 15’s matched up against Toowoomba’s Southern Suburbs and were defeated by five tries to two in a tough outing.

Under 17 Ladies League Tag – Club Hotel, Clifton Wattles Under 17 League Tag Ladies coach Dan Wallis was more than happy with the performance of his team on a windy Autumn morning as they finished 36 – 20 winners over Eastern Suburbs. “It was certainly a great win the start the new season.”

Allora Hardware Duck Run - Max, on 22 points won Friday’s duck run with Hethe runner-up on 18 points. Nearest the pin on the 7th was won by Nick and the longest putt on the 1st was won by Max. Thank you Allora Hardware.

Our pennants team were away against Stanthorpe on Sunday morning but went down to the Stanthorpe team. They will be home against Texas on Sunday morning - good luck.

The Warriors Juniors head to Tenterfield on Saturday to take on the Tigers in Round 2 of Warwick & District JRL fixtures.
