Wattles Juniors Kick Off New Season

Under 6 – Wattles Clifton Upholstery Under 6’s were more than excited to be back on the field. Bailey Monckton scored a couple of tries, while Ollie Van Der Poel. Elsie MacPherson, Kaiden Williams and Oliver Dore also crossed for touchdowns.

As the competition draws to a close with only two weeks to go the competitiveness grows. Fire Ants are still on top of the ladder but with a loss this week it only puts them two points ahead of Gina’s Babies so anything can happen. A bit of brotherly love with the Fire Ants going down to Do It Again, a bit of rivalry between the Pattersen brothers.

Touchers were Jackson, Katie, Glen, Trev, Roanne and Simmo with Simmo kindly donating his chocolate to Maddy our youngest player.

A cut of the cards to determine who would be winners in the drawn game between Stone Cutters and Doesn’t Matter with equal scores and equal ends saw Stone Cutters as winners and winners on the night with Fire Ants the losers. As I keep telling my team it really Doesn’t Matter as long as we have fun.
