30,000 annual consignments for local freight business

AFTER 20 years of servicing the local manufacturing, farming, engineering, automotive and construction industries with approximately 30,000 annual consignments, 2022 has proven to be another successful year for Bicknells Freight.

After adapting to uncertainties the past three years have thrown everyone’s way, they have remained true to their core focus, exemplifying what service really means.

“We are family-owned and run, but big enough to have local resources and connections, ensuring a positive customer experience and a fast response to any need,” explained owner Ros Bicknell.

“Smaller business tend to take more ownership than chains, especially because they are the face of an organisation. It means businesses like ours are proactive in their customer solutions and strive to maintain great relationships with clients and their wider community. Our reliability comes from our experienced people and from focussing on a small geographical area.”
