New beginnings for engineering stronghold

THE last 12 months have been marked with progression and accomplishment for local metal fabrication rm, Trevaskis Engineering, with a change in ownership, expansion and continued growth for the team.

Trevaskis Engineering has remained a trusted name throughout the Goulburn Valley specialising in precision punching, cutting, forming and pressing of sheet metal.

Michael Mason, an employee of the firm for over 30 years took over as director in March of 2021.

“After working here for such an extended period of time, loving where I work and who I work with, the opportunity to purchase the business was a new challenge I was passionate about undertaking,” said Michael.

“My aim is to implement more sustainable business practises going forward, further diversify the business and remain a firm with strong employment prospects for local people.”

Trevaskis Engineering currently employ 50 people, including five apprentices, and have engaged in a wide variety of innovative projects over the last 12 months.

Government infrastructure projects have been an exciting venture, as has the continued growth of the Feedtech sector of the business across the agricultural industry.

Over 250 Feedtech auto feeders have been designed and manufactured in Tatura and are in operation across the nation.

Trevaskis Engineering are grateful for community support and look for ways to give back where they can. A focus on putting local people and businesses at the forefront of what they do is imperative to their continued success.

Polyethylene Fabrication

• Our staff are certified butt and electrofusion welders. • We can manufacture polyethylene fittings from 50mm to 1200mm in diameter. • We utilise data logging of weld parameters which are issued with completed product. • All welds are stamped by our accredited fabricators for full traceability. • Our products include irrigation outlets, flanged pipe spools, pump manifolds, floating pumps and pontoons as well as customised products fabricated from polyethylene pipe and sheet. • We can provide a full range of poly products and various ranges of pipe.

Steel Fabrication

• We specialise in fabrication of aluminium and stainless steel products to suit the national water market. • Our workshop is equipped to handle any customer requirements from small bay outlets to floating pump structures with access walkways. • Our engineers work with the customer from design through to fabrication and installation. • Our product range includes foot / in-line valves, stainless screw-down valves, over-centre lockdown, slide doors, polyethylene stock troughs with durable galvanised frame, pipe-end stops, as well as a wide range of floating pumps for river, creek, channel and dam water supply projects.
