Google’s low-cost Cardboard viewers come as either a fold-out cardboard format or a plas?c headset that works with an iOS or Android phone


Early last year MaEel revealed that it was working with Google to revive and update the classic View-Master toy, turning it into a kidproof alterna?ve to Google Cardboard for enjoying virtual reality content on a smartphone.


The toy-like legacy brand is an update to a retro experience enjoyed by boomers and also plays to the millennial desire for the authen?c and iconic. For their Gen Z kids it’s a perfect give-away (one that oers an educa?onal component) while helping parents tour homes without the driving


The Benchmark brand and VR are compa?ble in many ways. How can we use VR, 3D, and 360° video to extend and enhance the brand?
