When and where is the event this year and what time? The event is taking place at the same traditional and iconic venue as the previous years, The Louisville Palace (625 S 4th St., Louisville, KY 40202), from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.

What can we expect this year? The night will be a special night with red carpet and photo booth as people enter the venue. The dance floor will come to life to the sounds of the Kentucky Salsa Allstars band and DJ: Ank G. The event will also feature international food tastings like sushi, samosas, and etc. all for $1 dollar each. You can buy tickets with or without food and also buy a VIP experience that includes easy access to the event and the photo booth, as well as food tickets, entries to exclusive raffles and more.

What’s the “event theme”? This year’s concept for our multi-cultural event is: Connect. Experience. Shine On!... it’s all about bringing people together during a night full of fun and exchanges where everyone –no matter where you are from- gathers to dance, eat and have a good time!

Tell me about the international food samples

This has been a sold out event two years in a row; do you expect the same this year?

The international food tastings are $1 each and include sushi, samosas, empanadas and a dessert piece being crafted by experienced chefs. People can pre-buy food online included in their tickets or at the venue the night of the event. Food goes fast so make sure you take a break from dancing and head to the food stands through the night.

This event has gained popularity through the years hence it’s always sold-out! This year we are expecting it to be as crowded as prior years so we don’t recommend you to wait until the last minute to line up outside the theatre only to hear there are no tickets left. Buy in advance and become part of this great diverse village called Louisville!

Where can I buy What to wear? What not tickets and find more to wear? information? This event is for people to Shine On! So they should –and likely would- come in their best attires! Take that fancy dress/ suit out of the closet and shine on! Women should think about bringing a backup pair of shoes, low heels or no heels at all since the night is long and the music is loud, your feet won’t stop moving to the sounds of Kentucky Salsa Allstars!

Join our Facebook page to get updates on the event and share your last year experience: Salsa, Soul, Sushi & Samosas (https://www.facebook.com/groups/ salsasoulsushisamosas/events/#!/ groups/salsasoulsushisamosas/ ) To buy tickets, go to: http://ssss2014. eventbrite.com/

What would you tell to people that wait last minute to buy tickets? Don’t even think about it, buy ahead!
