Seeing a better, brighter future!

An introduction to our Disability Resources

Proud to make a difference ... At Cornerstone we are united by a desire to provide support wherever it is needed so that a person with a disability can maximise their potential and allow them the same life chances as everyone else. Using our wealth of experience, we have developed residential, respite and outreach resources to meet the needs of every child, young person and adult in our care. Our resources afford people in our care the opportunity to enjoy a life of inclusion and to be an integral part of the world that surrounds them. Ensuring we achieve this goal is a team of highly trained, committed and enthusiastic staff. They are proud to be involved in the lives of the children, young people and adults that we look after. Without their dedication and energy, we wouldn’t be able to achieve as much or make such a valuable difference to the lives of every person that comes under our care. We can be contacted 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Cornerstone creates a brighter horizon for everyone in our care as we actively promote inclusion

…and here are the reasons why! Our entire focus is to ensure that people with disabilities in our care can look forward to a full, happy life that promotes inclusion. We have lots of expertise in managing challenging behaviour and have a proven track record in re-integrating people back into the community. We have a unique ability to provide a flexible care package that is ideally suited to meet the changing needs of each individual, whether that is residential, respite, outreach or one-to-one placements. The team works in partnership with parents and social workers within a multi-agency framework to ensure services exceed care standards. They are regularly reviewed and through effective team communication ensure a consistent and effective approach. Our Cornerstone network allows us to access professional support 24 hours a day. All of our homes are designed for small-group living and are finished to a very high standard. Our facilities include air-conditioning, sprinkler systems and sensory rooms.
