LIVE Connections 是一系列在實體及思維空間進行的、富推動力的活動，以劇場內發生的人和事激

LIVE Connections are sets of motivational actions in physical and mental spaces that stimulate creative experiences in and through theatre with people.

LIVE [/l'aIv/] 形容詞：指面對面的互動。誇啦啦相信人可以通過劇場學會生活的真諦。數碼時代雖然可以打破人與人之間的地域界限，但真正的關係卻是建立於每一個眼神交流、每次握手之間，並藉此重燃生而為人的熱情。

LIVE [/l'aIv/] (adjective) is face-to-face human interaction. In our theatre, we feel direct contact is a cardinal approach to living. The digital age has definitely brought us closer in terms of physical distances. The real meaning for us is eyeball to eyeball, shaking hands, rekindling being human.

To LIVE [/l'Iv/] (verb) is to take action, set goals, find meaning, and enjoy. In our theatre, in all capacities, we create with artists of all ages, energising and engendering life as lived through the arts. A crucial part of our daily regime is to engage with you, whatever your experience and knowledge in theatre and the arts. A CONNECTION begins a link between two people, objects and subjects. In theatre, many of these dots associate with each other prompting living encounters.

今年我們的科學教育家陳立昌教授本身是一位血液學家、病理學家、醫學人文及正念訓練專家，他將與參加者一同通過各種活動與節目，重新連結自啟蒙時代後分道揚鑣至今的科學與藝術。

In our 2015-16 season, we are connecting you all in and through theatre. Across different events and programmes, we are building theatre relationships on different levels suitable for a range of audience and participants.

Our Scientist-in-Education, Professor LC Chan, a haematologist, pathologist, medical humanities and mindfulness expert, will unite the sciences with the arts, reinstating the unnatural bifurcation that began during the Enlightenment.

陳教授在醫療科學範疇學識廣博，在他的推動下香港大學已開設人文醫學，為醫科本科生教育引入全球知名的「正念培育」（Mindfulness movement）。作為誇啦啦藝術集匯駐團科學教育家，陳教授會為公眾人士舉辦藝術正念工作坊，呼應誇啦啦連結身體與心靈方面的藝術探索，並和大家分享他個人對藝術的喜愛，為科學和藝術這兩個素來被視為是風馬牛不相及的領域搭建起溝通橋樑。

Professor Chan has vast knowledge of the sciences in medicine. He has been instrumental in creating the Medical Humanities and in introducing the globally well-known Mindfulness movement for medical undergraduates at HKU. As the AFTEC Scientist-in-Education, Prof Chan will offer the public a Mindfulness workshop through the arts, as well as contribute to AFTEC's artistic endeavours through connecting mind and body. In this season, Prof Chan will share and offer his personal love of the arts as a scientist to bridge the perceived divide between the arts and sciences.

英語經典遊蹤是一個適合小學程度戲劇及語文教育計劃由以英語為母語的演員演出。內容包括在劇院演出之互動英語戲劇及演前活動，在真正的戲劇環境下為觀眾創造一個有效而生動的學習體驗。與此同時，今年誇啦啦在英語經典遊蹤製作中首次正式引入自在劇場，並開辦研討會及工作坊，以探索劇場如何幫助自閉症兒童身心發展，同時亦希望令公眾人士更關注他們的需要。

Classics for Juniors is a tailor-made primary-level theatre and language learning programme in Hong Kong. This comprehensive educational programme comprises pre-show activities and an interactive English theatre performance with a native-speaking cast, creating effective and meaningful learning experiences in a professional theatre setting. Under the same banner, this year, AFTEC also formally launches the unprecedented Relaxed Theatre, Symposium & Workshop. Through this ground-breaking programme, we hope to explore theatre and its potential to support autistic children and raise awareness of their needs.

Bravo! 香港青年劇場獎勵計劃 2015-16 Bravo! Hong Kong Youth Theatre Awards 2015-16

46 位 13-18 歲年輕人通過全港公開招募成為新一屆 Bravo 計劃參加者。今屆申請人數比上屆大幅增加 1.4 倍，成功入圍的參加者將於香港接受一年演戲及生活技能培訓，並於 2016 年競逐海外暑期訓練名額，訓練地點包括 Bravo Asia 的雲門舞集及 Bravo International 的 LAMDA 倫敦音樂及戲劇藝術學院。而上屆 Bravo 畢業生則可參加持續學習計劃，更可申請一次性進修獎學金以修讀自選短期課程。 Through territory-wide open auditions, 46 young people between 13-18 years old are now part of Bravo 2015-16. Applications increased by 140% for this second cohort in which young actors will be given acting and life skills training in Hong Kong before a final round of selection to Bravo Asia at Cloud Gate Dance Theatre School and Bravo International at London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in the summer of 2016. Bravo 2013-14 graduates continue with top-up programmes including application and selection for a oneoff scholarship to a short course of their choice.

2013-14 年度 Bravo 畢業生受晴空計劃之邀，為 20 位來自中國雲南的大學生設計全日戲劇體驗工作坊，分享戲劇和生活技能，學以致用之餘，更希望通過戲劇學習及個人成長經驗彼此激勵，共同成長。 AFTEC Bravo graduates 2013-14 have been invited by Project Sky to create a full-day theatre experience workshop for 20 university students from Yunnan, China. Through applying theatre and life skills learnt from Bravo in 2013-14, the graduates will motivate their peers through sharing drama and personal growth experiences.

誇啦啦藝術集匯自 2012 年起成為香港大學李嘉誠醫學院社區伙伴，負責為醫科本科生策劃及執教醫學人文科中的表演藝術單元。本單元旨在訓練學生「覺察病人需要，回應社會對醫生的要求及期望，並建立嚴謹的道德操守與專業標準」。

Since 2012, the Performance Arts module has been an on-going training programme created and led by AFTEC as the Community Partner for undergraduate education in the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine. The module aims to ensure that students are "sensitized to the needs of patients and are able to meet the expectations and demands of society, as well as being taught to the highest ethical and professional standards".

Sm-ART 青年計劃完成第一個三年計劃，並將於 2015 年 9 月開展第四年。通過全年持續的多元藝術訓練，讓一批來自困難家庭的小學生有機會走出課室，接觸不同類型的藝術，從而訓練他們養成反思習慣，認識自己，理解別人，並找到生命的意義。本計劃以跨代教學為基礎，並加入義工訓練及服務元素，讓不同年齡的參加者都能從計劃中獲益。 Now completing the first triennium of this 3-year training programme, Sm-Art Youth moves into a 4th year from September 2015 in selected primary schools. Through constant year-round exposure to diverse arts disciplines in and outside of the classroom, Sm-ART Youth enables underprivileged children to nurture a questioning habit of mind, to understand the self and beyond, and to locate meaning in their young lives. This programme is founded on the concept of inter-generational teaching and learning with training for volunteers and contribution.

誇啦啦藝術集匯（誇啦啦）成立於 2008 年，是一個以學習劇場™為宗旨的雙語劇場及藝術教育組織，自 2009 年起成為西灣河文娛中心場地伙伴。誇啦啦策動的核心計劃包括青年劇場、中英文雙語戲劇及其他藝術計劃等，鼓勵參加者投入參與、主動學習。在過去 6 年，誇啦啦已為超過 105,000 名觀眾及參加者製作多個節目及活動。2015 年誇啦啦被羅兵咸永道非政府機構指導計劃選為 10 間具影響力的機構之一。誇啦啦亦於 2015 年獲香港藝術發展局頒發藝術教育獎 2013-14。

AFTEC has reached over 105,000 audience members and participants in the past 6 years through our diversified productions and programmes.
