We believe in the power of the arts to inspire, motivate and transform, and use an integrated artsin-education approach to enhance education and encourage learning. Established in 2008 as a registered charity, we have reached over 157,000 audience members and participants through our diverse programmes to date, and have been the Venue Partner of the Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre under the LCSD Venue Partnership Scheme since 2009. AFTEC was selected as a top 10 high impact NGO in the PwC Community Mentoring Programme on social impact assessment in 2015, recipient of HK Arts Development Council’s Arts Education Award 2013-14. 自然與孕育 Nature & Nurture 今季，誇啦啦藝術集匯（誇啦啦）帶您走出戶外，呼吸新鮮空氣！今年八 月，我們登上大嶼山西北面的沙螺灣村，感受足下自然萬物，呼應誇啦啦 學習劇場的孕育主題。要學習和體驗，有甚麼比出走城市來得更好呢？這 次突破性海邊戲劇之旅將免費於戶外竹棚演出，當天還會有工作坊，以小 島上的天然材料及物料循環再造成各種擺設及雕像。萬勿錯過！ 今年，我們再次舉辦深受家長及少年歡迎的暑期戲劇工作坊，並繼續於場 地伙伴西灣河文娛中心上演英語經典遊蹤、為自閉症及其他溝通或學習障 礙人士而設的自在劇場、誇啦啦青年劇場之雙劇目演出，還有載譽歸來的 「從文本到舞臺 ®」語常會英語大聯盟劇場教育計劃，今年將首次與語常會 合辦。節目豐富多彩，期待您的參與！ This season The Absolutely Fabulous Theatre Connection moves outdoors for a breath of fresh air! In August, we venture into a small village called Shalowan in north-west Lantau Island to link nature to the nurturing at our Learning Theatre. What better way is there to learn and participate than to get out? This year, AFTEC will be hosting a free for all pilot theatre production in a bamboo pavilion on site. There will also be workshops on building sculptural forms with natural and recycled materials. Do come and join us! Together with our very popular summer workshops at our venue in Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre, and continuing with Classics for Juniors, Relaxed Theatre for those with autism and learning difficulties, the Young Company’s double bill, we also will return with the much demanded “From Page to Stage ® ” programme this time championed by SCOLAR English Alliance. 戲遊人生計劃：劇場演出及討論 Young Theatre Makers: Showcase & Discussion 8 – 9 / 7 / 2017 六及日 Sat – Sun 3pm 西灣河文娛中心劇院 Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre Theatre 8 / 7 雙語演出及討論 Bilingual performance and discussion; 9 / 7 英語演出，雙語討論 English performance with bilingual discussion 入場年齡 For ages: 10+
$100* 四間中學完成一系列密集及內容豐富的工作坊後，將演出兩個由瑞典劇作家為年 青人而寫的劇作選段，並於演後討論中與觀眾深入探討劇目。 Four participating schools will perform excerpts from two plays written by Swedish playwrights especially for young people. Performances will be followed up by in-depth discussion with audience participation. This is the culmination of a series of intense and exciting workshops.

參加者將於英國藝術教育家的指導下，在兩星期的經典劇場、編作劇場及律動劇 場﹙選其一﹚工作坊探索夢想、夢魘和現實生活的灰色地帶，並於展演中與觀眾 分享所學。 Participants will choose from Classical, Devising and Movement Theatre with UK artist educators to explore the blurred lines between dreams, nightmares and reality. 由青年演員演出 Featuring a cast of young actors 沙螺灣村把港古廟50週年誌慶，誇啦啦藝術集匯將呈獻原創粵語話劇，把紅船 事件融入該村的粵曲表演習俗，耳目一新。 Celebrating the 50 th anniversary of the Chinese temple in Shalowan village, AFTEC will be creating a original play linking the origins of Chinese opera performances in the village to the red boat. 交通：東涌新碼頭轉乘10分鐘渡輪﹙東涌港鐵站C出口步行10分鐘﹚ Village access: 10-minute ferry from Tung Chung New Development Ferry Pier (10-minute walk from Tung Chung MTR Station, Exit C).

紅船戲班：黃清霞博士及馮鎮宇原創的粵語話劇， 講述一班粵曲演員隨紅船於1900年代從中國到沙螺 灣的故事。 The Red Boat Opera Troupe: an original script by Dr Vicki Ooi and Oscar Fung about a group of Chinese Opera singers who travelled on the Red Boat in China in the early 1900s to Shalowan.
