The selected Proposer will develop a comprehensive safety action plan that will analyze crashes on all city roadways in an effort to reduce or eliminate traffic fatalities and serious injuries. This effort will include engaging the community and other stakeholders such as law enforcement to receive input and hear first-hand about concerns and experiences as they relate to traffic safety in the City. The Safety Plan will take a systematic approach to improving safety by grouping similar roadways with similar crash patterns and developing low-cost solutions that can be applied holistically. The Safety Plan will also devise location-specific solutions where the identified traffic safety issues warrant. These solutions will be in the form of projects that meet current standards and draw from practices that have been proven to address specific safety issues. The latest technologies will also be evaluated to be included in the Safety Plan's recommended solutions. The goal of a Safety Plan is to develop a holistic, welldefined strategy to prevent roadway fatalities and serious injuries in the City.
