Treat Your Sweetie to Chocolates and Travel

Oh, Valentine’s Day. Though it’s so early in the year, it always seems to sneak up on us until it’s right there. How many of you have found yourself in the position where you wait until the day before to buy a gift, and find that you’ll be lucky to grab them a box of chocolates and a cheesy stuffed animal on your way home?

We can do better. Let’s be prepared this year.

Of course, never forget the chocolates (or other favorite sweet treat, no judgment on the chocolate haters), but after everything we’ve all been through over the last couple years, it’s the perfect time to take that trip, getaway, journey, or vacation you and your special someone have had to put on hold.

You deserve to get away, go somewhere special, just you two.

Know you want to go somewhere, but not sure about the destination? Want to take that extra step and do something different that will really knock their socks off? Here are our top ideas.

Tulip Time River Cruise

Sure, you could buy your partner some flowers from the store (and you should still do that, *wink wink*), but why not head to the Netherlands for an amazing experience as well as some beautiful tulips?

The Netherlands is famous for their colorful fields of springtime tulips that typically bloom between March and May.

And the best part of going on a Netherlands river cruise when it just so happens to be tulip blooming season is you get all the beauty and wonder of the blooming flowers while also getting to explore an amazing country. Great food, scenery with windmills, loads of history and architecture—it’s a trip that truly has something for everyone.

Discover the Secrets of Egypt

Nothing says, “WOW!” like a once in a lifetime kind of journey. If you’re looking for something to make your partner speechless, we’d recommend going with something they’d either never expect, or that they’ve only ever dreamed of. There’s no time like the present to make those dreams come true. And we happen to know that a trip to Egypt has just that effect.

Just imagine: You’re floating down the Nile after spending a few days exploring Cairo. Your bags are now bursting full of the goodies you found while shopping, and your camera is full of pictures from the pyramids and the Egyptian Museum. And this is only the BEGINNING of your trip. Wouldn’t you be speechless?

If you’re interested in doing either of these trips this year, we actually have groups already doing both. Grab your sweetie and join us! Check out www.roseboroughtravel. com for more details.

Top runners-up for Valentine’s getaways include: seeing the Rocky Mountains by train; a cozy weekend in a cabin, surrounded by nothing but snow, trees, and wildlife; a Florida staycation which includes all of the major Orlando theme parks; and a Caribbean all-inclusive getaway.
