livestock Agrifirm Feed provides livestock farmers in the Netherlands with feeds and several other products and services for their businesses. Result-driven concepts combine products, knowledge and advisory services with respect to dairy cattle, pigs, poultry, beef cattle and goats alike.
We are close to the day-to-day business. Our specialists know what is going on at the farms of our customers. Agricultural entrepreneurs have their own dedicated contact points. They can contact our people in the regional offices to get answers to their questions or for placing purchase orders.

agriculture and horticulture Agrifirm Plant offers everything needed for growing crops in the Netherlands, from sowing seeds and fertilizers to crop protection. The added value particularly includes advice and knowledge.
We invest in independent development of knowledge and research for agriculture and horticulture. At the same time, we are close to the growers through our field services and regional locations. Our customers can rely on result-driven consultancy, also when dealing with complex problems and changing circumstances.

co-products for animal feed Co-products from the food industry are increasingly being used in animal feed and as raw materials for the compound feed industry. Agrifirm Group plays a leading role in this.
With Bonda (operating in six European countries), Profarm (NL) and Bongardt (DE) we have modern subsidiaries entirely focused on co-products. In this way, we optimise our service to our customers and we make a contribution to a sustainable food chain.
Bonda processes brewers’ grain, a co-product of the beer industry, into high-quality feed for dairy cattle at its location in ‘s-Hertogenbosch (the Netherlands).
specialties Advanced animal feed requires high-quality ingredients, such as minerals, trace elements and vitamins. Agrifirm has knowledge for in-house development and production of these ingredients. The market for these specialties covers the global animal feed industry.
The knowledge of ingredients is eventually beneficial to products for livestock farmers. We have our own two leading producers of these specialties, being Pre-Mervo en Vitamex. Pre-Mervo is market leader in the Netherlands. Vitamex produces both in Europe and in China, and the global sales of this company is particularly growing in Southeast Asia.

international in feed Agrifirm Group has feed companies in various European countries, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Hungary and Poland. We offer enterprising livestock farmers a broad range of feedstuffs and services in these countries as well.
The company distinguishes itself in these markets by high-quality products and knowledge. Our international activities ensure continuous growth. With this we maintain a broad basis for our investments in research and development.

services Apart from concepts for agricultural enterprising, the Agrifirm Group also provides a range of services. For example, we exploit the Welkoop/Boerenbond formula with shops for animal supplies and gardening tools.
Our service activities further include green fodder drying plant Oldambt, agricultural mechanisation company Abemec and laboratory CCL Nutricontrol. Exlan provides supplementary advice services in the fields of business development, production rights and environmental issues.
Welkoop/Boerenbond focuses on people who want to work, care and enjoy themselves in their gardens and their farm yards. The location in Werkendam was recently opened.
participations Agrifirm Group has minority participations in various companies in agricultural value chains. These investments contribute to the profit and the spreading of risks.
For instance, the company has an interest in Plukon Royale that is committed to adding value in poultry. Agrifirm is also one of the participants in the raw materials business Cefetra as well as in Holland Malt.
Malting plant Holland Malt in Delfzijl (the Netherlands) is owned by Agrifirm and the Bavaria brewery. This company processes barley into malt for the brewery.
innovative The challenges agricultural entrepreneurs are confronted with require continuous innovation. Agrifirm Group joins the innovative power of an international network of companies in order to be able to continuously develop new products and concepts for farmers and horticulturists.
The knowledge and experience from the entire group are combined in the Agrifirm Innovation Center. This innovation centre for R&D in its turn supports all companies associated with the group. We are not just a party that is competitive in the market with respect to quality, price and service, but we particularly distinguish ourselves as being the right party offering sustainable and innovative solutions for a better result.

sustainable We believe that sustainability will become increasingly important. Therefore we respond together with our customers and suppliers to the developments in the market and the requirements society faces us with, for example, in the areas of nature and environment, health and animal welfare.
We daily work on sustainability together with our customers, for instance by making use of residual flows from the food industry in animal feed or by giving advice to our crop farmers and horticulturists about growing methods with a minimum impact on the environment.
