Albert Herder

Albert Herder (b. 1960) Master’s Degree (1992) at the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam. In 1995 he founded his own office Albert Herder Architect. Since 2010 Albert leads together with three partners Studioninedots. He worked on several important high-rise (residential) buildings in Amsterdam and he is a specialist in the transformation of old office buildings. He also developed a new urban concept called “cityplot” (2012) to need reconsider conventional urban planning strategies to open up more innovative and social flexible models of development. In addition to his commitment to the designs, Albert teaches at various architecture institutes and gives regularly lectures at national and international conferences.
