Launching Our New FeatherWeft Extensions After three decades in the hair industry, I've been at the forefront of numerous hair extension techniques and products. Among these, the OnStage Beaded Weft has been a standout innovation. This unique product, which uses beads instead of sewing to secure hair wefts, has already made waves in several countries, although it was relatively unknown in the United States until recently.
A few years back, Andy Wright, the original founder of Hair Visions (previously known as OnRite) contacted me about a novel hair extension product from abroad. Initially skeptical, especially upon hearing it involved beads — reminiscent of the I-tip method I was familiar with — I was pleasantly surprised when I received the samples. The OnStage Beaded Weft was different. It used beads to secure wefts and strands, eliminating the need for sewing, a technique I found to be cumbersome and outdated.
