BUSINESS ANALITYCS

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS Business analytics (BA) is the combination of skills, technologies, and practices used to examine an organization's data and performance as a way to gain insights and make data-driven decisions in the future using statistical analysis. The goal of BA is to narrow down which datasets are useful and which can increase revenue, productivity, and efficiency. BA can be leveraged to accurately predict future events that are related to the actions of consumers, market trends, and also assist in creating more efficient processes that could lead to an increase in revenue. BA has many use cases, but when it comes to commercial organizations, BA is typically used to: Analyse data from a variety of sources. This could be anything from cloud applications to marketing automation tools and CRM software. Use advanced analytics and sta tistics to find patterns within datasets. These patterns can help you predict trends in the future and access new insights about the consumer and their behavior. Monitor KPIs and trends as they change in real-time. This makes it easy for businesses to not only have their data in one place but to also come to conclusions quickly and accurately. Business Analytics will help you answer questions like: Is my business profitable? How can I make my business even more profitable? If it isn’t profitable, what am I doing wrong? What item is causing a lack of profitability? Should I be selling my ice cream at a higher or lower price? PROGRAM STRUCTURE The program consists of three stages. In the 1st semester, you will learn about the Foundation of Business Management Skill. In the 2nd semester you will get the Knowledge and Skill for Business Executives and in the 3rd & 4th semester you will run into Experiential Learning. Each stage closes with high-level integration modules on the key issues and challenges specific to Business Analytics. The classes run every Tuesday and Thursday for MBA Program every Saturday for Executive MBA Program with a total 8 meetings throughout the elective course that is selected: “Data Science” and “Business Analytics”. THESIS A Thesis which is the final proof of MBA – level will be specific to a Business Analytics case. The elective classes and thesis are equal to 9 out of 40 credit units for the whole MBA Program. In total, MBA-Business Analytics has STEAM content embedded in its different courses. Upon completion of all requirements for the program. IPMI grants an MBA degree on the diploma and on the transcript will have a notation “with concentration in Business Analytics”.

One of key aspect for leaders in any organization to keep growing is by keep on learning, both from practice as well as enriching the skills academically. Being at the senior management level, it is a very enriching experience on revisiting the cases, seeing from multiple angles of view, which made possible in the class that composed of various backgrounds of executives. I found this very relevant on my learning journey when taking the Executive MBA course in IPMI. Denny Galant, MBA.

Alhamdulillah, I’m very proud to be a student of the MBA program at IPMI International Business School. IPMI has a very good quality learning system with international standards, including the lecturers. Here we are accustomed to conducting analysis and discussions in the style of Harvard Business School. The students must always seek references actively from various sources to be able to master and solve the problems encountered in this discussion. Because I'm used to having discussions and communication with my classmates and lecturers in class ever since, I become more confident in communicating at the place where I work and I can enjoy exploring new things to do.
