Ecological park with rainwater harvesting system.

Sempur Kaler Park which is located on the Ciliwung riverbank is designed to reuse rainwater, reduce rainwater runo , and increase retention and infiltration capacity.Thesitewithanarea2000sqmistransformed to a socially and environmentally sustainable neighbourhood park, which provides a meaningful space for recreation, environmental education, and social connections to the growing community.

The city of Bogor is nicknamed the ‘rainy city’ because of its high rainfall compared to surrounding cities such as Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi. This city has an average annual rainfall of around 3,5004,000 mm with the heaviest rainfall in December and January. Along with the development of urbanization in Bogor City, rainwater runo is often wasted directly in contaminated conditions through urban drainage to rivers. Rainwaterthat is not managed properlycan also cause flooding and damage to infrastructure in urban areas.

Tebing Gricil

Tebing Gricil is an open green space that has been developed by the Bogor City Government. This green open space is actively used by people living in Griya Katulampa housing of all ages. The activities carried out at this RTH are various such as KWT activities, recreation, jogging, and other residents’ activities.

Tebing Gricil is included inthe GriyaKatulampa Housing Complex. “Tebing Gricil” isthe nameforthearea around the Ciliwung river border. The uniqueness of this area lies in the shape of the cli s on the Ciliwung river and the condition of large, shady trees which are an attraction for people who like nature park.

The landscape design that is made brings out the connectedness between the river body and the park. Now, the river body becomes an important part of the spatial element; this will encourage the people of Griya Katulampa to see the river as an important part of their public space.

Jejak Hijau

Social project, park construction for public elementary school

Jejak Hijau is an annual Student Association of Landscape Architecture IPB University activity in the context of community service in Bogor Regency. This activity is expected to become a forum for the contribution of Landscape Architecture students to serve the community and is a concrete manifestation of making the environment better in terms of function, quality, and aesthetic value.

The park built underthis program is intended for public elementaryschools.Theexpectedactivityinthisparkis a passive activity for relaxation. Planting in this garden appliesanorganicconceptwithacombinationofplants ranging from ground cover plants, shrubs and trees. This garden is expected to be a space that provides serenityto learning activitiesthat are carried out bythe academic communityfrom elementary school.

Paksya KareoTanggeran

Landmark design based on local species of Tangerang

One of the e orts to strengthen and improve Tangerang’s branding is to build iconic and attractive landmarks. This landmark aims to create a city character by emphasizing the character of the local area but still integrated and harmonious on a city scale.

Thedesign conceptfortheTangerangCity Landmark design takesthe basic shape of thewingsofthekareobirdandthefort,this shape was chosen because the kareo bird has a very deep meaning for the people ofTangerang City, especiallythe Larangan area,whilethe basic shape ofthefort,this shape was chosen because the origin of the name of the city of Tangerang is from “tanggeran” which means a landmark building. Namely a fortress made as a landmark by 3 arias.

TeplanWaterfrontPark

Waterfront park intended for city people relaxation.

Location: Bogor, Indonesia

The location ofthe Teplan sitewhich is onthe borderof the Ciliwung river makes this site unique. On this site, rivers and waterfalls are the main attraction objects so that visitors can feel relaxation directly from the water element. Apart from that, Teplan is also right in the middle of the city so that its position will be very strategic if it is developed into a park that can relax the minds of city people.

The concept used in this site design is a restorative concept; return the mind to our origins, namely nature. The division of space in this park design is divided into 3 development spaces. Interactive, human interaction with nature. Immersive, showing natural attractions to humans. Communicative, space to communicate with other humans. The main circulation on this highly contoured site is wooden decking. Planting on this site also adopts a planting concept that invites pollinators such as birds and insects.

Semeru Meditative Park

Meditative park for contemplation and meditation.

Theactivitiesofcitypeoplewhotendtobeverybusycan cause fatigue which interferes with their mental health and mind. To prevent this, workers must have their own space for themselves, one of which is by means of contemplation/meditation. One type of meditation is mindful meditation, which is a type of meditation that can train a person to focus on the surroundings and emotions they feel and accept them openly. The benefits of mindfulness meditation basically mean that you are more aware of your surroundings, emotions, feelings, and the various problems you are facing.

Semeru Meditative Park is designed to be a place to relieve mental and emotional stress for city people. Its location in the busy area of Bogor city makes it very strategic for workers who want to get away from work routinesforawhile.Themeditativeconceptcanbeseen in the division of space in this park: Mediative Area for meditating and being one with nature, Motivation Wall for filling energy through motivational words found on thedioramawalls,andHamockAreaforcommunicating with others by using a hamock to sit back.
