Day Camp offers children a summer filled of fun! Campers will participate in groups games, sports, crafts, sings, swimming and more! Each week will include an off-site field trip or in-house entertainer. In addition, each week will include one “Taste of Camp� day when lunch is provided. Each session and week has different themes.

The Arlington Heights Park District is partnering once again this summer with the Arlington Heights Memorial Library. The library will keep the campers excited to read all summer. Look for bookmobile visits and summer reading challenges at the camp sites.

Understanding Fees Our Summer Camps continue throughout the summer; while they have various start dates, the fees for week 4 are slightly different due to no camp on July 4. Pioneer Park camps meet 3x a week during weeks 1-8 and the 9th session meets 5x a week at only Pioneer and Camelot.

CREATE Creativity takes courage Arts Alive Camp

Arts Alive provides art instruction that mixes technique with opportunities for creative freedom and self-expression in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Safety Town

Experience peace of mind knowing that your child will learn invaluable information about all types of safety through this program. This early safety educational program designed to introduce safety techniques to young children through participation. Children learn the rules of home, school and outdoor safety through a variety of activities, videos, songs and guest speakers. Back again this summer, a one week camp option with lots of variety and fun. Each week will be a different theme with corresponding crafts, songs, stories and explorations. We will go outside each day if the weather is nice for games that go along with the weekly topic. Kaleidoscope Camp

Games, swimming, crafts, songs, outdoor play and various preschool activities make up this summer camp, which is held indoors and outdoors. Children learn to play with each other in a group situation and should wear play clothes. All children are required to be toilet trained by the start of the program. Pull-ups are not acceptable. Participants in the Kal Camp program swim only in the wading pools. Children must be the required age within 2 weeks of the program starting. Each day sailors have four to five hours of sailing, including free sail time to practice their skills. On land, the sailors have two hours of land instruction, including terms and safety.
