Being EB is now the most wonderful experience I have lived so far. Now, this is your time to go and enjoy all the process of being EB 2014. Just visualize and imagine the 31st of December, of 2014 when you and I as a team, we have fulfill the promise to grow like never before, and we are just remembering all the impactful moments we had. The year 2013 made me understand that when you want something you have to run to achieved it because the world needs entrepreneur people, need leaders to fulfill promises through actions. Now it´s time to make it happen. We will aim to conquest the top, and connect people to create the greatest experiences we can offer in order to impact our society in a positive way. Now it´s time to be the boost that our society needs and thrive for all.

Now, leading AIESEC Javeriana is a huge challenge because the change and the twist that we are going to start living is going to be amazing. To Take into Account 1. When applying, remember that you are applying to the Executive Board of AIESEC Javeriana 2014 and preferring a position, not the other way around. This means that reallocation can occur. 2. Please fill out everything that says “mandatory” or “obligatory”, as it really is.
4. Please, PLEASE, do not wait until the last moment to send your app, as Murphy Law is right around the corner. Be sure that, from 11:00pm on, your PC is going to shut down, the video is not going to upload, wi-fi connection will fail and the .zip or .rar file is not going to compress. At 6:00pm, there is a solution for all of the above. At 11:00pm, there isn’t. 5. Content is more important than Design, but do not leave the latter behind.
6. Sometimes it is preferable for a candidate to show a lack of knowledge than a lack of results to support his/her application. So, please do not leave your obligations behind this month, as this will count towards the final decision. 7. ENJOY. Enjoy the best and most complete process to be run for EB 2014 in AIESEC in Colombia, and try to take out of it as much as you can.

Intellectual and psychological
A broad knowledge of world and organizational systems, current trends and issues facing society and cultural issues are important to lead a Local Committee. Practical understanding of new management theories (e.g. learning organization, selforganizing systems) is also important in managing the diverse environments in which AIESEC operates. In addition, each position requires skills and knowledge in the areas of financial management and budgeting, project management, human resources management, and good understanding of English.
AIESEC understanding
Many aspects of one’s personality can effect being part of a leadership team in AIESEC Javeriana. Some of them are obvious: constant learning, systematic thinking, creativity, adaptability to change, sense of responsibility, capacity of analysis, patience, listening, and supportiveness; but also you have to keep in mind that the most important thing is to understand why -as a leader of this amazing organization in AIESEC Javeriana you are doing what you are doing. Great leaders inspire action and lead consciously.
Society knowledge
While the members of AIESEC Javeriana’s EB come from diverse backgrounds and environments, several general characteristics, skills and knowledge are expected of C.S.R Director everyone.

EB Member Profile
A broad understanding of the association is required in order to execute an EB position properly. An understanding of our vision, values, identity, current direction, country development, and systems is certainly something we will look for in all candidates.
Overall, there is no perfect candidate profile; however, good candidates will possess strong competencies in the areas of social behavior, motivation, task orientation, and people management skills. The key component is balance - within the individuals and within the team of individuals.
EB Selection Process - Nomination Dear EB Applicant: In order to get nominated for the position of LCVP 2014, you will be evaluated through three different sections.
1. Application: Evaluated by the current functional LCVP, LCP 2013 and LCP 2014. 2. Current LCVP Interview: Evaluated by the current functional LCVP. 3. Challenge: Evaluated by LCP 2014 and LCP 2013
Nomination Process
(*) To get officially nominated, you will have to obtain a score at least 80% of 100% according to the items previously mentioned. After sending the application, you will have the possibility to clarify your application through a virtual open forum with questions done by the General Assembly. This forum will not be scored, but it is mandatory to answer all the questions. The official nominees must make a brief proposal presentation to the General Assembly with the respective questions. To obtain confidence vote, you will have to get 2/3 votes of the full right members of the General Assembly

1. Application(40%): It will be taken into account organizational knowledge, LC current state, strategic thinking and functional knowledge, also is important to have an excellent content in the video. 2. Challenge(10%): It will be taken into account the ability of the person to be part of the EB based on the competences and skills developed. 3. Current LCVP Interview (50%): It will be graded according on the current functional area state, strategic thinking and functional knowledge.
EB Election Process - Nomination (*) After the Confidence Vote An official nominee with confidence vote must proceed with the Interviews Process which contains 6 different perspectives from the Elections Subcommittee. 1. LCP 2013: Evaluated by Jean Manuel Nuñez 2. LCP 2014: Evaluated by Camilo Sosa 3. External: To be confirmed 4. General Assembly Member: To be Comfirmed 5. Assessment Center: Evaluated by Psichologist 6. Tests: attach the results of the following tests in that link http://bit.ly/1PsychologicalTest . When you answer them, you will find a link that says “Save your Results: Save this permanent link to your results”. THAT IS the link that you will attach inside. • Work Values: http://www.123test.com/work-values-test/ • Team Roles: http://www.123test.com/team-roles-test/ • THT test - It will send you to your E-mail *The Tests will be evaluated by each member of the Elections Subcommittee 1. LCP 2013: It will be taken into account the organizational knowledge and the local reality. 2. LCP 2014: It will be taken into account the knowledge about the essence of AIESEC, personal drivers and the role as an EB Member. 3. External: It will be evaluated the knowledge of the external market and selling skills. 4. General Assembly Member: It will be evaluated the past experiences and the alignment with the position as an EB Member.
None of the interviews will be scored, every input will be precious to take a more adequate decision by the LCP 2014. Give your best, not matter if it is not graded. The result is qualitative and provide strong reasons for the final decision. TO KEEP IN MIND:
If you get elected to be part of the EB 2014: 1. You must have availability to fully attend the EB Planning Weeks + Team Days (4 or 5 hours in the evenings & nights, from December 2 to 7 and from December 17 to 21). 2. You must attend the National Vice Presidents Meeting (December 8 and 10, Place to be defined). 3. Attending NPM 2013 is mandatory. 4. Book, from NOW ON, the first 5 days of the Holy Week, as LDC is almost non-negotiable.

• Regarding the usage of Social Media: candidates are NOT allowed to promote their applications neither video links through social media. In case it happens, candidates will be automatically out of the process. The EB will be monitoring the transparency.
