What is YouthSpeak? The YouthSpeak Forum is a premiere event that brings together both young and senior leaders, Companies, StartUp community to form a diverse cross-sector and multigenerational space for inspiring conversations around Quality education and Employment. The forum aims to create an environment to gain new perspectives to create actionable outcomes and close the gap between education and the labor market.

The main themes will be defined by the YouthSpeak insights and will shape the projects we want to create.
We will look for companies and organizations willing to sponsor AIESEC projects that will be created during the Action space and executed after the YouthSpeak Forum.

Major Findings 53% of millennials see a disconnection between what they are learning today versus what they will need tomorrow.
Education was ranked as the #1 most serious global issue at 23%
61% of millennials have plans to become an entrepreneur, and another 9% already are.
Global experiences, constant learning and meaningful work are the top 3 most important aspects of the first 5 years of their career
70% of millennials have stated that experiential learning is their most preferred method of developing new skills, followed by volunteering experiences and on-the-job training
Cross-sector collaboration was identified as the top response for how we can to be more effective at meeting the needs of students and employers

Keynote Explanation for the partner This section of the day is delivered through short and powerful talks and aims to inspire delegates and help to form their opinions for the rest of the day.

INSPIRE
Keynotes where speakers relate to the main topic and how them or the company they represent connect to it. Each key note shall take no longer than 30 minutes.
Workshop Explanation for the partner Youth and business are able to interact, exchange opinions and understand what is being done in the world already to address the question of the day.

ENGAGE
Workshop where organizations and youth interact in order to learn methodologies in how to impact the world. Organizations can get insights on what youth think about their initiatives or create a new project with them 90 minutes each workshop.
Action Space Explanation for the partner The youth delegates take their learning and insights from the day into a space where they are able to co-create ideas and solutions with their peers and experts in the room. The aim is to switch their ideas into actions that each stakeholder can take forward to contribute to the theme of the day, resulting in commitments and projects that organizations and stakeholders can support.

We want to generate projects that impact the society and are based on issues young people care about. Projects should involve our exchange programs.
