What? We want to foster an interest about the world in children and youth, overcome stereotypes and prejudices between cultures, religions, gender, ethnic groups, races, origins or any other status.

Job Description and Responsabilities Volunteers will be giving different sessions and workshops to children and young people about the topics mentioned before.

Good knowledge of English and basic Spanish. Social responsibility, entrepreneurial and innovative vision, commitment, creativity, motivation and desire to learn. Presentation skills, marketing skills, project management skills.
Prepare and deliver different workshops, activities and sessions: including outlines, methodology, and presentation. Planning of the 5 weeks with timelines, materials and sessions. 20 hours per week: 10/15 hours of sessions a, the rest are for planning and preparation. Volunteers are expected to spend some time with the hosting family speaking on their language or in English. Write report about the impact of the project. You will be working with 3 other volunteers in the same school and more volunteers in the city.

Timeline The project duration is 6 weeks. It will start at the end of June and there will be different starting dates. The project will be run in two Spanish cities: Barcelona and Galicia Link to the opportunities will be released by 21th of April
Logistics Living and Learnings
Before the arrival AIESEC provides you with all necessary information on transport and logistics.
Accommodation is covered. You will be staying with a Local Family.
AIESEC members will encourage you to participate in their activities, will show you the city and teach you about the Spanish culture. We will organize different cultural activities to immerse you in the city.
AIESEC will provide you with education about the purpose of the organization, sharing and their rights and obligations. Also with information about the country, habits and culture. We will assign each volunteer a buddy who will be in constant communication with him to ensure the best experience. AIESEC will provide with LEAD spaces for reflect about the experience and the personal development.
