To make awareness about STDs and Non-Communicable deseases among youth in Sri Lanka
Objective
Educate Youth on STDs, non-communicable diseases and their preventive precautions.
To develop a discussion about STDs and non-communicable diseases among youth.
To provide an opportunity for youth to raise their concerns.
Project in brief Duration:
19th June 2017- 7th July 2017
Programs o Workshops at Universities on STDs o Workshops at Schools on STDs o Patient Visits
This is how we are going to do it… Week 1 – An introduction and workshops for interns on STDs and NCDs. Week 2 to 5 – 5 workshops will be conducted by interns at schools and universities. Week 6 – Patients visit at Children hospital.

Aligned UN SDG Goal of our project-Good Health and well-being- Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.
Our targets  By 2030 end the epidemics of AIDS, Tuberculosis, malaria and neglected tropical diseases and combat hepatitis, water-borne diseases and other communicable diseases.  By 2030 reduce by one third premature mortality from premature mortality from non-communicable diseases through prevention and treatment and promote mental health and well-being.  Strengthen the capacity of all countries, in particular developing countries, for early warning, risk reduction and management of national and global health risks.
