We provide leadership development trough global internships and team experiences.


Global Talent Program Global Talent is AIESEC’s premiere talent sourcing product for leading organizations, and one of the best ways in which we bring values-based leadership to the world. The program consists of an internship from 2 to 12 months and brings in youth leadership, innovation, global perspectives, and functional expertise to provide organizations with a competitive edge when it comes to talent and leadership pipeline.

How does it work? Some Exchange Partners

AIESEC handles the process from the beginning to the end. AIESEC provides the best CVs and is present during entire selection process. After that, AIESEC proceeds with visa and provides documents The intern will be picked up according to his/her situation (train, airpoirt, bus)

AIESEC will track that the intern has a valid insurance policy to cover basic medical costs AIESEC will support the intern getting an appropriate accommodation.

AIESEC will be sure that the job executed by the intern corresponds with the Job Description submitted.

AIESEC will be in charge of the invoicing and the payment track. AIESEC will provide information about the organization purpose, the role of an exchange, and the exchange policies. AIESEC will provide information regarding the country, habits, and culture;.

Work Permit Exemption AIESEC in Belgium has a Work Permit Exemption, which is a document from the government stating that for all interns working under the name of AIESEC for a period of time not exceeding 12 months, companies do not need to issue the regulatory Work Permit. After the final hiring decision, intern can start working within two months.

The fee to hire an intern through AIESEC consists in 1,520€ + 40€ x number of months the intern will be in the company. To hire an intern for a period of a year, the fee will be 2000€.

Business Need: AIESEC sourced talent is the strategic resource in key business processes. Eg: Marketing, Sales and Innovation. Long term leadership recruitment aimed to develop and retain top leadership talents Leverage on specific skills and competencies acquired by AIESEC talent (Leadership soft skills, engineering specific skills and entrepreneurial outlook/globally minded) with a clearly defined sourcing strategy to grow the business in specific focus regions.

Outcomes: Long term leadership recruitment strategy worked really well since the beginning of the partnership. AIESEC talent now forms the leadership team of some of the core strategic business units. AIESEC program used to scale up operations in newly acquired markets in Asia Pacific and Latin America. AIESEC currently represents the main provider of talent to Electrolux with 40 internships annually and retention rate of 55%.
