Hello, dear Global Volunteers! This booklet will help you figure out what are the different options to come to the conference and how to manage transports in Italy. IMPORTANT: be sure to be there before 12:30!

TRANSPORTS IN ITALY In Italy there are two train companies: Trenitalia § regionale train: it’s cheaper but slowlier § freccia train (frecciarossa, frecciabianca, frecciaargento): it’s more expensive but fast
Italo Trains are fast and quite cheap but only have stations in the big cities
Flixbus is the most famous bus company that runs routes all over Italy and Europe. It’s cheap but it takes time for long trips! As destination put Venezia Mestre – from there you will take the train towards Latisana-Lignano-Bibione and then the bus
Every major city has an airport. You can choose to arrive in one of these three airports, that are close to the venue of the conference: § Venezia Marco Polo § Venezia Treviso § Trieste Ronchi dei Legionari
HOW TO GET THERE?-> EASY! The conference will be held in Bella Italia Village. Address: Viale Centrale 29, Lignano Sabbiadoro, Udine
Google maps can help you to get there: check the timetable of the bus! Starting point is Latisana autostazione
HOW TO GET THERE?-> EASY! Lignano Sabbiadoro is a seaside loca:on, easily connected with Venezia and Trieste by train. These two ci:es have airports and train sta:ons that allow you to reach them from any Italian city. Remember you will have to reach the venue on your own, while AIESEC members will wait for you there and give you constant support in organizing your trip.

HOW TO GET THERE?-> EASY!

We suggest you to use a GPS or Maps. Generally if you are on the Motorway A4 take the exit Latisana and then follow the direction towards Lignano. It requires approximately 1h and 30m from Venice and 1h and 15m from Trieste.
HOW TO GET THERE?-> EASY! +
By TRAIN + BUS
There are two options to reach the train station of La:sana - Lignano - Bibione. § a train from Venezia Mestre towards Trieste, or § a train from Trieste towards Venezia Mestre
(Pay attention, only Regional trains stop in Lignano - Latisana - Bibione, beware of Frecce).
From the train station of Latisana-Lignano-Bibione to the venue, you will have to take the bus provided by SAF. Line: UDINE-LATISANALIGNANO Direction: LIGNANO You get off at the stop ‘’LIGNANO VIA CENTRALE 29 COLONIE’,’ after a 29 minutes ride. The venue is just few minutes on foot from the bus stop!

REMEMBER to be at the hotel before 12.30 for to check-in and start the conference on time!
HOW TO GET THERE?-> EASY! To reach the train stations of Venezia Mestre or Trieste, from where the train to Latisana-Lignano-Bibione departs, here are the different options from all over Italy:

Cheap bus with Flixbus to Venezia Mestre
Trains to Venezia Mestre or Trieste with two companies: § Trenitalia https://www.trenitalia.com/ tcom-en § Italo https://www.italotreno.it/en
From Venice and Treviso airports take the shuttle till Venezia Mestre train station and then follow the previous bus instructions. From Trieste Airport follow the directions for Trieste train station and then take the train towards Venice and stop at Latisana Lignano - Bibione.
TO SUM UP From any Italian city you can reach Venezia Mestre (train station)
OR
Trieste (train station)
by regionale train you reach the station of Latisana-Lignano-Bibione you take the bus with direction Lignano and get off at the stop Lignano Via Centrale 29 Colonie A couple of minutes on foot and you reach the hotel!

With the plane you arrive at Venice airport: take a shuttle to Mestre train station and follow instructions from there
Then take the train to Latisana-Lignano-Bibione and the bus to the hotel
