4 years ago I was reading the LCP application and, I’m not going to lie, I was freaking out! 4 years later though, I still think that that was the most beautiful process and the most powerful experience I’ve ever lived. Being LCP is not just having a cool role, being LCP requires you to care personally about the people you’re serving, requires you to challenge them and to challenge yourself directly, requires you to be humble, to be open to learn and develop new skills. So yes, this role requires a lot, but if you believe in your LC, in AIESEC in Italy and in the impact it can bring to our Country, my friend you’re in the right place at the right time. The LCP Job description: ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ●

Delivering Team Standards to the EB Team Planning and executing LC touchpoints and routine Planning and Re Planning process delivery and achieve the Plan Aligning and coordinating work between the EB team and TL body Downscaling National Strategy and direction in the LC Managing key stakeholders of the LC Reporting to the local and national plenary Representing the LC inside the National Plenary and AIESEC on the local territory, to Universities, companies and organisations. Responsible to build and keep the AIESEC culture at local level and ensure the respect and the implementation of the AIESEC values in the proper way Being accountable to LC and MC.

Duration: 12 months + transition

The role: Being Local Committee President means taking the responsibility for the development of AIESEC at the local level. You are responsible for alignment and protection of the AIESEC brand, organizational growth and the development of positive leadership that will enable the sustainable development of the organization in the years to come.

Regulation The 1st round of application is launched and set at national level in order to support the election of the new generation of LCPs in the right time. The “National Election Week” is the week in which all the 1st round applicants elections will happen and it will all be shared in the iComm channel of MC Italy and celebrate together the elects: what if we see the elections going on in the same week in all the entity? The LCP current is responsible to schedule the day in which the election will happen in the LC and to book the Election Chair from MC through this form, by the 9th of August. If later rounds need to be launched the LCPc is responsible to set a new timeline but you need to communicate it to the MC and to fill the form at least 15 days before the election day. The assessment needs to be organised from the LCPc and it needs to happen between the DDL of the round and the day before the election.

Before applying To ensure a good level of preparation we highly recommend to have chats with currents LCPs, alumni from you LC and your LC coach. The LCP applicant education path must be completed before sending the application.

How to submit The application has to be submitted in a unique PDF file at this LINK within the DDL. The video has to be uploaded on YouTube and the link of the video must be attached to the pdf (ensure that it will work). Send your application also to the email of your LCP, within the DDL.

Remember The applications with some missing parts or not sent on time, will not be accepted. For any doubts regarding the application process you can approach your MCVP OD Director at laura.fabbri@aiesec.it.

Review Board assessment The role of the review board is to ensure transparency during the process. This board is selected by current LCPs, and it is composed by the LCP, an MC member and one external (teacher, alumni or LC partner).
