Hello there, Ask any AIESECer what their best AIESEC memory is and most of the will say something regarding a conference. Conferences are one of the most important parts of the AIESEC network and organizing one is one of the most challenging experiences you could have. That being said, we are officially opening the position of Conference Manager for Summer 2020
Role The Conference Manager is responsible for the overall success of the conferences of AIESEC in Romania: Electing and Leading the OC Team, Ensuring the delivery of the conference objectives and ensuring their profitability.

MC Presence | Being present in Monthly Reviews virtually when requested Reporting | Providing monthly reports to the MC Final Report | Creating the final report at maximum 2 weeks after each conference
Conference Management Venue Communication | Finding conference venues and maintaining communication Agenda Manager Communication | Keeping communication with the agenda manager and the chair before and during the conference Crisis management | Responsible for emergency situations

Position Information Responsible for:

**The amount of money is determined based on the monthly plan achievement set together with MCVP F&L at the beginning of each month

Will require physical presence at RPM 2019 (21-24 November) as part of transition

Multitasking
Organizing conferences is never a one-man job. By working together and managing OC Teams, you will develop interpersonal skills necessary to ensure the good delivery of the conference.
Simply put, to be a successful conference manager, you need to be able to juggle a lot at once. Your job description includes a lot of activities and it's your responsibility to make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

General Questions 1. What is driving you to continue in AIESEC? Why have you decided to stand for the National Conference Manager role? What do you want to take out of this experience? 2. How do you see the effect that conferences have on AIESEC as a whole? How are you going to upscale that effect? 3. Create an analysis for the current state of our conferences and national events considering: agenda content, logistics, financial sustainability, OC management and partners involved.
Specific Questions 1. Imagine that you are responsible for delivering SprinCo 2020: How would you shape your routine and way of working before, during and after the conference, making sure that each point that the JD includes is fulfilled and delivered with excellence? 2. Find three main gaps from our last two conferences. After it, review the timeline of organizing one conference from an OCP/Conference Manager perspective and propose 3 improvements. 3. Present us a template on how you would make a report for a conference (which data to collect, which points to write about, which topics to be reported) and explain how this report can help next OC’s and Events Managers to step up their way of working.
4. Describe your way of working with MCVP F&L, Agenda Manager, OCP, OC Team, External Team and MC Team.
